As I was settling into this as a very cool slice of life story, I definitely did not see the cousins actually being zodiac animals coming!

Wasn't this a older manga? I think I remember it being one as it was 1 of 2 manga that my sister ever read, if so I didn't know it had an anime. I gotta check it out, give it a try.

Nice! I had a mini moment of "Oh, please let this be the remake" panic. Crisis averted. ^^' Fruits Basket is one of my all-time favorite series, (first manga series I ever collected in full!) and its original adaptation (back in 2001) really didn't do it justice.

Yaaaay! I had the biggest grin on my face while watching this. I thought it'd be super fun to just not give any context hahaha. I will definitely be sponsoring more of this incredible series. :DD

It actually had an anime like 20 years ago but the anime was tone down and didn’t finish this one keeps all the drama and actually has an ending. Very beautiful show

I remember in my freshman year of High School one of the longest conversations I ever had with a girl was about this series (the original, that came out years ago). I remember her saying she admired Tohru's strength of will and character. Me being the emotionless 14 year old I was. The only thing I picked up on was how ditzy Tohru was. Watching this all these years later, at 24 I finally realize what she was talking about.

You're in luck! I think the last season of the remake just finished! :) And trust me... it needed a do-over. What I've seen of this version is as close to the original manga as you can possibly get.

Loved this series. Started out on the original anime, then collected the whole manga series over 2 serializations when one stopped being released in my area. This has a great set of lovable characters. Hope for more sponsoring for it!

Fruits Basket is like a nostalgia boner for me. I remember watching the original release (before it got this Brotherhood treatment).

Is this gonna be an everyday reaction because that would be awesome

The characters were so immediately impactful, and those animal reveals at the end really stunned me! 😊

this is another case like Kenichi, the show is way too long and way too amazing to be a once a month thing. The wait will just be agony for you...and for us lol. Still so excited to see that you're watching it, regardless, though.

Bless Morgan.
