Damn, back to back days with chills! Luffy smashing his exit back to the ship just completely threw down the gauntlet!

Luffy has always been a badass

We are now about to begin the literal longest fight (in terms of episodes) in all of anime. Used to be Goku vs Freeza (19 episodes), this fight is longer hah. It was something like half a year with weekly episode releases.

Luffy is about to face his greatness challenge! This is gonna be one of the greatest fights you’ll ever see! Katakuri is about to lay down the gauntlet and give Luffy the fight off his life. Rubber vs Mochi

Anthony

What a great moment for Captain Luffy! 😁

Gotta love One Piece never thought I'd see Rubber powers going against Mochi powers lmao 🤣

SlushiesAndStuff

That mirror scene is so great lol when my roommate and I were watching it we both stood up all hyped xD

Preet

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG IM SO HYPED UP!!! *turns super saiyan*

V_VMat

And to think none of this would have happened had Brulee not stick her nose out of the mirror 😂

SirSaggyBackSack

If the whole thing with Sanji and the tea party was the main dish, then you can consider this the dessert

Nika

This is without a doubt the best fight in one piece so far

Dandy

Even with the pacing issues (padding the runtime with reused scenes, recap, unnecessary reaction shots), it's really hard to deny how good the remaining content of this arc is, especially upon first watch.

Business is picking up! We are in for a Slobberknocker! As good ole JR would say 😁

CrossZ

This part of the story is great. I'm usually a manga reader but I tuned in to the anime starting this episode to see the mirror scene, which kicks off a truly great fight

Luffy: I'm not trapped in here with you, you're trapped in here with me! And yeah, I have no idea how Mr. Lick survived, but when he said "Pedro broke my candy armor" I assume he meant that he got his armor up just before the explosion, but was unable to save the hand he used to make said armor. Regardless, Pedro's act saved Brook and Chopper, freed The Sunny, and allowed them to escape Big Mom's chompers. And now we get to the main event... 2nd Son of Big Mom's Pirates Katakuri vs Strawhat Captain Monkey D. Luffy

Jake from SF

Bruce Lee is the saving grace. Luffy doesn't have bad luck so him breaking that mirror only means those around him get it lol. And breaking a mirror truly does bring bad luck. I would know. Broke one accidentally in 7th grade and every year, including that year for 7 years I broke a bone, tore a ligament, dislocated a bone or my favorite, stitches in the mouth due to a baseball one year and another year same spot from an elbow in basketball.

THE GOOSH!

Goddamn! That’s a terrible run! Fortunately for me, when you look like I do, you stay way away from mirrors anyway! 😄

I’ve been waitin for years to watch this animated, only ever saw it in manga, hype as fuck!!!!

Carey Schave

This is easily one of my favorite moments in One Piece. It gave me chills too. You know Luffy has no real way to win, but you still feel bad for the bad guy lol.
