...And is it on a path that will intersect him with Disk Brain?!

Oh, and right after I finished recording, it dawned on me that those guys took out Glasses because he had screwed up and killed on of theirs... Ah well, too bad for him.

One of my favorite episodes. Now this isn’t directly stated anywhere. But it could be said johan thought that Anna’s experience was his own because he didn’t want to forget Anna after his memories disappeared from kinderheim 511. If you remember in the tape recorder johan said the one thing he didn’t want to forget was Anna. Could be a reason why he thought that way!

For me the part that hit hardest was Nina's attempted suicide. Throughout the series there's never been any indication that she'd kill herself. Even after all she'd been through she'd been so kind and cheerful around Dieter, Reichwein, Tenma, Karl and Lotte. It just struck me as incredibly out of character, and not as a result of bad writing. The kind of out of character that happens when shit really hits the fan.

Good call; that was tough to watch... I'm actually amazed at how much of a connection I felt to Grimmer and how hard his death hit me!

Grimmer's death was definitely the most intense scene in the entire series. Then at the end where he says Magnificent Steiner must've become human once again. Grimmer was the best written character after Johan.

Rogue Agent

Well, that weasel kid didn't last long. Johan doesn't care who helps him.

Well I haven't actually watched this episode so don't have the full context however I will say from what I gathered online that people who have suicidal thoughts aren't always those people you expect to have those thoughts or even act on them. My guess here is that maybe this Nina is cheerful around her friends but when she's alone she reveals dark thoughts she is having.
