Okay, Gang, the OG Dragon Ball has won the poll to become our follow-up series to Re: Zero!

I think I have a plan that should be fun for everyone: Since this was a two-horse race between DB and Kaguya-Sama, and seeing as how Kaguya-Sama is rather short, how about we start DB and near the middle, take a quick break to do Kaguya-Sama?

I'm thinking we'll watch Dragon Ball to the end of the "Commander Red Saga", then check out Kaguya-Sama before returning to finish DB. This would put it after episode 68 of DB.

Sound good? I think this is a great way to watch two series that you guys obviously really want to see.  😊

😍😍excited for both

Yeah that sounds good to me. Do we know if we are doing dub or sub, I personally don’t mind either way I just curious.

Aidan

I don't care when as long as Kaguya sama is in dub

He’s already watched a few episodes of DB in dub and watched Super in dub so there’s your answer

Rogue Agent

Sounds great! A nice place to pause DB before Kaguya-Sama.

Michael Aagaard Nielsen

Seeing as OG Dragon Ball is rather long, i think it's okay to take a break.

Chrome

nice, they're both great series, and it's nice we'll finally get to the original Dragonball. Kaguya's a great comedy series, so I know you'll like it, the subs great so I'm glad we'll probably be going with that, the dubs, kinda bad from what I've seen, kinda cringy.

Rixadzin

Voted for Black Clover, but OG Dragon Ball is still a HELL of a LOT of FUN so look forward to it:D

Vikar

sounds good :)

Daniel Gonzalez

So while they're no dark tournament I really do enjoy the WMA tournament arcs of DB

Damn, based on previous polls I had thought you'd be watching the top 3 or 4. But top 2 is understandable

They are some of my favourite anime tournaments, purely for how fun and imaginative they are. They pretty much encompass why i prefer DB over DBZ (Though the Gohan Hero arc may be my favourite arc in either show.)

Uwe

Hopefully you will watch Dragonball in sub Or do another Poll for sub or dub

Sean

I’m surprised you haven’t seen Og dragonball, also you should react to Avatar LOK, you would enjoy that too

Ahopiyo

Sounds like a really good idea.

Tyler

An excellent plan as always. This will be a nice excuse to rewatch Dragonball too. I haven't seen it since back when it used to come on during Toonami I think?

Evgeny Karimov

If I'm not mistaken, in about 3 weeks you should reach the ongoing One Piece arc. If it's still ongoing at the time and you decide to stop there, you could just follow One Piece with Kaguya. That way you'll still have a very long show and a shorter show at 5$ level.

Rob

Funny talking about sub/dub, While I honestly can say I watch both I tend to go back to Dub when it’s a Shonen and for others it’s a coin flip lol I think it’s the aggressive scenes that I tend to really connect with dub (if done right) for example Sean schemmel as Goku or Chris sabet as vegeta. I enjoy both though :)

Tony Gilbert King

Please watch the dub I personally love OG dragonball and generally I prefer subs but for some reason I can barely stand sub dragonball maybe its just nostalgia because I grew up with the dub or maybe its something else but I had to stop watching your super reactions because i couldn't stand it when you changed to sub

The Gimpster 101

I say you should do Sub for both, DB can go either way but Kaguya is definitely better in Sub.

Graf koks

sounds good like a plan but for kaguya sub is better in my opinion

plz watch db in dub

Murkrow

DB is in the "One Piece/Naruto" class, when it comes to awesomeness, and siz. But doing the shorter anime first, might be a good idea.

Infact, there is a awesome crossover movie, if you ever need more to watch :P

Moe

I'd prefer if you watched db all the way through before kaguya however if you have found a good halfway point in db for kaguya I don't mind either way (it's a short series). Just do whatever you think is best for us because I'll support you either way.

i would prefer it if db and kaguya sama love is war didnt even win the poll

Dandy

Glad you were able to pick a solution that works out for you based on the poll results of the entire population of patrons!
