This whole "back from 20 years ago" thing needs some clarification!

The old guy was mad about the snake woman indoctrinating the kids. I won't go into the details as the show will do that in time :) Oh boy, Kyoshiro... Now this character is a trip! As for the revelation, and the tie-in to Samurai Jack is purely coincidental.... Long ago in a distant land, I, Kaido, the shape-shifting Master of Darkness, unleashed an unspeakable evil! But a foolish samurai warrior wielding a magic sword stepped forth to oppose me. Before the final blow was struck, a portal of time was torn open, and flung him into the future, where my evil is law! Now the fool seeks to return to the times of the past, and undo the future that is Kaido!

That "Kinemon not coming out before nightfall" was brilliant 😂 Oda is such a massive troll with twists like these 😂 just the latest chapter of manga had one too

Lmao that chapter was excellent, plenty of people are crying about it but in all reality this is Oda we’re talking about and this was a classic Oda trope scenario that lots of people underestimated.

The 20 Years Timeskip was hinted at during Zou because Momonosuke said he met Gold Roger, but Roger died 24 years ago meanwhile Momo is only 8 years old. So that was a big red flag that many people skimmed over before this was revealed.

I def missed it lol. Granted I miss the MOST obvious of set ups. They always fly over my head.
