Krillin gave it a good run, but got his ass kicked... It's time for Goku to have at it with Douchey General Blue!

In Russian, word that means "blue" is applied to homosexual men (like "gay" in English). That makes this general even funnier to me.

DevilJynx

The Deity's name is Durga. She's also a demon killer. :)

Jake from SF

This was the one thing back in the day that was censored. After krillin makes him bleed and blue gets mad and krillin taunts him to come at him he calls him a flaming homo.

gomugomubrooo

Unlike the other Red Ribbion COs, General Blue is no push over and has a super human ability. Now, he’s about to fight Goku.

Zaius

It's groovy baby!

Darryl Robson

I was NOT expecting General Blue to actually be that tough, lol!

V_VMat

In the manga instead of being sumowrestler Bulma claims to be "actually a man" but Blue just yells her "there's no man with boobs that big!" And yeah, he's gay. But ofc you can't have that in "children cartoon" so it gets censored. (Don't know how it was done in sub.)

that's actually not why it was censored lol, they censored it because they thought it would be seen as homophobic

Anyone know if the "Octo-Daddy" was inspired by Ultros from Final Fantasy 6?

Wait nvm this episode came out in 1987 and ff6 came out in 1994 duh. Maybe Ultros was inspired by "Octo-Daddy" instead
