A couple extra arms certainly seem like they could present a significant advantage in a martial arts fight!

Jake from SF

Crane douche should be thanking Goku not wanting him dead. Think about it. Tao would still be alive had the Red Ribbin Army never hired him. Due to his contract with the army he was killed. Goku then later finished off the army. Thus getting the revenge the crane douche has been seeking all along. 🤣🤣🤣

Tien as said before, he gradually shows his change in character subtly. He's nothing if not honorable in a fight by this point.

Mighty Snake

Tien is truly the most badass of people, normally in anime they lose arms but he has instead grown more. Beware the triclops!

Again one of the reasons I like original Dragonball is that they come up with so many unique techniques. Tein Should’ve whipped out some interesting techniques during the tournament of power just like Roshi did. Also imagine people seeing him meditate and Jiran just like “ hmm I’m surprised to see such level of meditation from this universe seven fighter”

Rogue Agent

This is the episode where I started to have more respect for Tien. Crane getting blown away was a nice bonus.

This is why I like Tien in this arc and the series moving forward. In this arc he starts out arrogant and has a real bad attitude (though that's putting it mildly.). He goes out of his way to break Yamcha's leg even though he would have still lost if Tien had left him alone. And this was only before Tien learned of Tao's death by Goku which gave him actual motivation to be cruel. What's more he was extremely rude and disrespectful to waiters and cooks. By all account he's a bad person with real ugly values such as idolizing Tao, a cold-blooded assassin who killed the guy who made him new clothes when he insisted, he should pay for the service. This is when you find out from Roshi that it is because of Tien's teacher, the corrupt and despicable Crane Hermit that Tien is the way he is. Now with the Crane Hermit out of the way Tien is showing a much more honorable side to him, even letting Goku wail on him for the unfair advantage Chiaotzu gave him. Can't wait to see how Curtis feels about him after this arc.

Congratulations! Your TIEN SHINHAN evolved into MACHAMP!
