Personally I like the idea of saving a world you've been summoned to at the expense of another. Usually in these sorts of Isekai series where the heroes are summoned to save the world. You know the good guys are the good guys and the bad guys are the bad guys. This flips that whole dynamic on it's head. For one L'arc and Therese are both just swell folks. Especially when you compare them to the three jerks that Naofumi's been putting up with all season. They're way more heroic than those petty Heroes that aren't really worthy of the name. (I mean Ren and Itsuki have potential if they could get over themselves, Motoyasu is too far gone).

Since we're waiting for this new shield hero season to fully release, I'd like to switch from this show to a newer anime called "ranking of kings" I'd love to see your reaction to this underrated masterpiece it's honestly a major sleeper every aspiring otaku should witness. I'll plan to do 2 g100s for the next couple of months!

Wow, what a coincidence! Spaz Kid and his best friend and girlfriend were here today for Easter, and they actually just asked me if I’d seen that one yet. 😄 They said it’s amazing!!… So, next month, would you like me to do the final episode of Shield Hero, season 1 and episode 1 of Ranking of Kings?
