The two cowboy looking guys are Butch Cassidy and the Sundance. You probably couldn't be more American than those guys. And they lied their asses off to Naoshi, who hates the Americans since he's a Japanese Pilot from WW2. Bolivia is a pretty solid lie though, since that's supposedly where Butch and Sundance fled when things got too hot in the States. It's also supposedly where the Pinkertons tracked them down and killed them.
