This opening episode definitely makes Fairy Tail seem like it would be a really fun adventure!

I always watch the sub and dub for any anime I watch, but Fairy Tail and FMAB are the only 2 where I always recommend watching the dub first. The cast are mostly the same and do a truly fantastic job, so I highly recommend the dub for Fairytail. Plus just like FMAB Fairytail has some absolutely hilarious blooper/outake reels in English

Yeah everybody talks up FMAB Dub like its the best shiz ever but forget that there's a really decent amount of VA's from FMAB in Fairy Tail. I find that so strange.
