I was just getting into REALLY liking another Rider, when Caster had to come along and pull this shit!

In Fate Stay Night(2006) and Unlimited Blade Works, Rider is by far the weakest Servant this time around, what's cool is this is deliberate for a story reason that won't be explored until the Heavens Feel Movies

If you want to get some knowledge about Rider and even Shinji then you need to find a way to watch the heavens feel movies. I would love to watch it in single episode sized pieces on here to get your reaction. When it gets going, it has some fights that equal this arc at its best and beats what you have seen till now.

I'll try to make time to watch it... I don't do movie reactions, but I'd really like to see it.

I get it, but maybe we can find some other way that you can monetize you watching the heavens feel movies. Also, there are 3 of them. They work with some really interesting storylines and concepts even for this show.

Chris Johnson

Yeah, Rider is done dirty in the UBW route and the Fate Route (for a good reason). She in these route is by no means on the level of Zero Rider. But the reason as to why she's not as powerful as she should be is explained in the Heaven's Feel route which is split into movies unforunately. So you won't be able to see Rider in all her glory unless you watch those movies. But I will say, she's a quality Rider.

J Johnson

Shirou and Tousaka have both used 2 of their 3 command spells, this is important because when the 3rd command spell is used it removes any connection between master and servant as the command spells are what bind them in the first place. It's why Tousaka couldn't emergency call Archer in this fight because she was already down to 1.

Yeah, she has one of the cooler identities in this war... Which is saying something.

It doesn't have anything to do with monetization. It's about the strange precedents of Fair Use.

Rin: You know Good Cop, Bad Cop? Well I do Bad Cop, Worse Cop! Shinji: You nearly shot me, how could you be Worse Cop?! Rin: Worse Cop wouldn't have missed.

Now that Rider has been removed from the war I can talk about her more. I believe her identity is Madusa and she is more prominent in the first Fate anime and the three-part movies. Apparently in the original game once upon a time Emiya got to fuck her in order to give her mana or something to that effect. Keep in mind I have never played the game so this last piece of info might be a little inaccurate.

Why did that dream sequence Emiya had at the start of the episode remind me of Steins;Gate?

This is not accurate at all - played the VN, including hollow ataraxia
