This one ended up being really touching! I enjoyed it - as bizarre as it is - a lot!

Reminds me a lot of my dad. But even before he died, this episode always struck closely for me. I'm not sure why. Something about that ending credit scene. I can't watch it without crying. Which is odd, because that was was of my least favorite endings, but in the context of this episode and arc it felt like it had a whole different meaning. Not even sure what the words of the song are saying and yet I feel like it's speaking to me about life.

Actually, I looked it up. because I was curious. The English translation of the ending is: "I'm sure Gandhi and Napoleon also believed in love We don't want to replace mistake with mistake, right? Open the door, go out of this room where there's no one With the courage you gave me, I could go anywhere, do anything In this world where everyone's gender and birthplace are different I want to believe that, that is love And I will keep on searching"

Only Gintama can make a story involving a sexdoll end up being sentimental.
