Another brilliantly hilarious episode, with yet another stop me in my tracks hysterical sequence!

I really love how clear they made it that Rick had lost his training in improv. He kept using the same stupid "I gotta take a shit" excuse, every time he had to improvise a reason to leave and he never even improvised a reason to enter a room.

THE GOOSH!

No, I'm not sure where you got that idea. Rick & Morty is every third day, and the others I fit in as I can. I've never given a schedule for them.

Oh nice I thought these were random too but did think they were awfully consistent

You missed the post credits scene. It's a pretty important one too, so I recommend you go back and see it.

AniMangaFan

Don't forget there's a special ending in each episode.

GoldArthur

Missed a lot of Morty's best dialogue in this one

THE GOOSH!

LOL! No worries... I was actually concerned that - not unlike me - I had communicated something poorly and had given an impression of a schedule for the YT vids... We should settle into some regularity, though, as I get the shows that are the definite keepers over there settled. 😊

Although there could be an extra layer in there. He said "comedy comes in threes" as one of the golden rules, and he excused himself to the bathroom three times.

Hmm, I catch everything in editing, but didn’t notice a lot of misses at all… Doesn’t matter anyway; it’s one of the perils of doing reaction videos properly.

I love how Morty's rage moment shows us two wildly different things about him as a person: 1.) He's been mentally pushed far enough to be okay with killing Rick if he wants it to happen. Pretty big example of the mounting repressed rage that briefly came out of him during the Purge episode. 2.) On the other side of things, he was willing to blindly kill Rick just so he wouldn't shoot Summer (who isn't even his real sister), which on some level is really sweet and shows the part of him that's still human.

Yea, this was set up really well by the “repressed rage” sequences in that earlier episode!

Fun fact, McDonald's brought back the Mulan szechuan sauce for a limited time when this episode was set to air, and they sent the Rick and Morty creators bottles of the szechuan sauce, too

So Rick managed to escape prison, expunge the council of Ricks, made the galactic government go bankrupt and collapse, and indirectly got Jerry out of his life. He literally defeated all of his enemies in one go.
