Renge's a lot of fun lol, she's very... "eccentric" but not a bad person, plus it's good for Haruhi to kind of have a friend that's not one of the hosts. I feel like I have to let you know, the twins aren't like "that" they just paly up their affection for each other to get girls. Oh also if you watch Fairy Tail in dub you'll immediately recognize Hikaru's VA is Fairy Tail's main character There's a ton of great shojo series out there that unfortunately get overlooked because people assume they're just for girls. Ouran, Skip Beat, Cardcaptor Sakura, Yona of the Dawn, Snow white with the red hair, my next life as a villainess. Hell the entire Isekai genre like Konosuba started off as a shojo subgenre.

I'm not gonna lie, rewatching this show now, it's a lot more cheesy and a little bit cringey than I remember. But you're right, it's is cute, and it's not so cheesy that it makes me want to stop watching or anything, just something I noticed.
