Mirko's taken a beating, but she's delivering one, as well! I don't know why I have an ominous feeling!

Morgan

As a Kaminari and Jirou shipper, this episode made me squeal with excitement haha. I think Kaminari's my favorite hero course student. And Mirko continues to be such a badass!

I really enjoyed Kaminari's badassery! Of course, you know me, Morgan: It's Midnight that makes me squeal! 😂

A minor difference between the anime and manga is that in the manga Mirko gets her arm completely torn off by the mental attack, rather than just mangled. Not sure if they thought ti would be too gruesome to show on TV or something.

I understand your worry, Curtis. Just a fair warning, pretty much this whole season is just one really long anxiety attack lol. Things are super serious pretty much from start to finish

Also, I wouldn't mind if Mirko crushed my head between her thighs like that lol

This might be a case of censorship making the scene even more gruesome than the original image. Like having your arm torn off is horrific but so is seeing the arm in question get twisted until it looks like a busted-up toy. Side Note: Now it makes sense why Miriko is sealing her wound like that, you usually do that to stop the bleeding, but Miriko's anime injury isn't bleeding, it's just REALLY busted up.
