Whoa, Gramps' abilities are insane! He definitely cleaned up any issues between the guilds for the moment!

Couple of red flags here about how little Erza cares for her own well-being.

Jiggy Watts

Mystogan being the MVP quiet kid of the guild

Some guy named Chris

Jose kind of a dumdum ain’t he? “I’m gonna destroy Makarovs home and children and watch as he despairs and becomes a worthless sobbing mess” (paraphrasing of course) Did he forget the other potential reaction of someone if you destroy everything they hold dear? The unbridled rage? Makarov was only so calm because none of his kids were actually killed.

This arc actually has 1 more episode left (#29), but you already watched whatever you decided/remembered on, so doesn't matter. I have been waiting for you to catch up on One Piece, since the few episodes after where you left off have all been brilliant, though the best of Wano arc is still yet to be animated.... 👀

Every time I watch this episode, when Makarov comes in and the Fairy Law ost drops, I always get goosebumps. Such a badass moment

Lewd Angel

The Fairy Law soundtrack hits so damn hard, its a really cool concept for an ability, we'll get to learn much more about it far on down the line

Darknaru

Man Fairy Law is such a hack spell but what Erza just said about the spell basically makes it the perfect move to win almost any fight.

Jose got beaten so hard he literally went gray and lost his skin pigment XD

His ego and jealousy clouded his mind. He was driven by greed, petty pride, and a terrible case of inferiority complex.

Fairy Law's theme reminds me a bit of how Makarov is named with an Eastern European name, thinking specifically Russian.

It's mostly no different than the spirit bomb; it's intended to be used with specific conditions met. The show does have some "lolcheapnonsense" moments, but Fairy Law is thankfully not used a lot.

Not gonna lie, I panicked a little bit one you said. You were going to catch up to One Peice. I only seen a few episodes when I was a kid and never really got into it. That being said some of the episodes I seen were epic, but I had to watch them during the summer at my dad's. Because my mom wouldn't let me watch anime, and the episode were all over the place. I have recently restarted the series, but I'm still in season 1. And I was just really hyped when you got into Fairy Tail. After looking though, I see your only 7 episodes behind. I was thinking you were a few hundred behind, that would bum me out. Because I can't watch along I'm still on season 1.

To be fair it definitely has conditions that prevent to from being a completely overpowered asspull. First and foremost, its target corresponds directly to the users personal feelings, meaning you can only use it on someone who you truly consider your enemy, and Makarov, being a very compassionate guy, probably feels this way about almost nobody, unless they hurt his kids or do something profoundly hateworthy. And I dont believe people like Jose or anyone with dark affinities can learn it, as it is essentially a light based magic, (although that's just my own speculation, I don't believe thats confirmed anywhere,) but I'm just saying. I dont think it can be abused, there just wasnt really any need for the author to deep dive into explaining it since it already doesn't really get abused. I also believe that the move itself is not omnipotent, just very powerful if the conditions are met to cast it. And thats the end of my ramble 😆
