You got it a bit flipped around, Star and Stripes (the hero on the plane) is the #1 USA hero (thus the costume color theme). All Might is Japanese but studied and trained in the US for a while and drew a lot of inspiration while there, thus his moves being named after US states and his costume colors being themed after it.

That "I'm not here" sign in All Might's statue is so disrespectful towards him but it easily shows how hero society crumbled once he was gone. All might literally held everything together. Once that glue was gone, everything crumbled down

Funny noticing Uraraka wearing gloves to sleep, guessing so she doesn't float herself in her sleep.

I'm hoping the rumors about the vigilantes spinoff being adapted are true, because Curtis would love that series.

Yeah Stain came in clutch. His info gave them a much needed headsup on just how dire things are. I do like that he acknowledges how terrible he is, but iI do believe he genuinely wants a more honest hero society.

The Stain aspects of the episode are easily the most interesting when it comes to talking about the society of MHA as a whole. In the beginning Stain's aim was the elimination of those he considers "False Heroes". This was the beginning of the concept that Hero society at the beginning of MHA was flawed. We had a couple of signs for that, the MHA entry exam favored Quirks with high combat potential like Bakugo's explosion Quirk. People like the mind control guy didn't have a hope of getting in because of how unfair the exam was. Stain was also such an individual whose powers weren't very effective at combat against robots. Then we have the fact many of the heroes were more interested in the fame than they were being people who were just here to help and inspire people. They were essentially celebrities, and this was featured as early as the first episode where Mount Lady beat Kamui Woods to a villain despite the fact he was about to do a special move on the villain. Now let's switch to the more crooked aspect of this society, the byproduct we know as villains. While some villains are just plain criminals quite a few were actually birthed because of circumstances of everyday life in this society. Supposed "Villainous" quirks like Mind Control guy's quirk and even Toga's quirk caused them significant trouble. Toga's quirk made her feel an attraction to blood which her parents didn't treat in the right manner due to the standard of society which in turn lead to Toga's first attack and her path toward villainy. After Stain's defeat and capture his philosophy went public and inspired the like of Toga and even Dabi who were summarily used by Shigaraki because of his brief interaction with Stain. This all compounded into the events of this season where society began to crumble and all if not a majority of the heroes Stain didn't like quit due to the stress of being an actual hero. He got what he wanted but society as a whole suffered for it so maybe this demand to have All Might take him down after this whole All for One thing is settled might be his way of atoning for unintentional causing this long sequence of events.

Stain acknowledging how bad a person he is is the entire point. “You villains always try to justify your actions” - All Might. Stain doesn’t justify it, he knows he is killing innocent people. But his message is more important. He even says that All Might and Deku are the only ones that have proved themselves and he’ll happily die at their hands after everything is done!
