I've wanted to see this movie for years, and I'm really glad I did! What a lot of fun!

For any who might want an exact sync, I watched this movie at PEACOCK TV.

Oh sheeee!!! Time to dig through my closet and find my old dvd! I love that you're starting this film series! I hope to see you do all of them =D

Become a Potterhead like the rest of us, Curtis. HUFFLEPUFF FOR LIFE 🦡 Now you have to watch the rest, it's mandatory.

Sleepy4U

Now we just need someone to tell Curtis he is a wizard…

In germany we had something you could call Harry Potter abriged for the first 2 movies. Very lewd, very stupid humor. I love them, xD

Tyler Theno

Swish and Flick, like the bend and snap but less trashy.

I am so excited for the harry potter series watchalong, hope we get the whole thing!

Sean PaulT60

Just now I'm noticing the advantage of movie reactions, unlike with season long series Curtis has to binge, he can just watch the move send out the reaction and then go for the next one.

THE GOOSH!

Actually, quite the opposite is true. These are YouTube videos, as well, and a 2-hour movie takes me at least two hours to complete both edits, so we're talking over 4 hours total time to post one vid here and at YT. These are, by far, the toughest things for me to schedule.

Hagrid will always be the best! R.I.P Robbie Coltrane we will always miss you.

Harry Potter is so iconic, I'm glad you're finally getting a chance to see it. In the UK the first film and book are actually called Harry Potter and the Philosopher Stone, they changed it in the US because Scholastic apparently didn't think Americans would understand what a Philosopher is, I'm pretty sure they re-recorded some scenes as well because of it, because It sounds like in your version of the film they do call it the sorcerers stone.

Hey curtis, would it be possible for you to leave the sound on for the first few seconds so we know its synced or possibly use a streaming service thats more widely available. Peacock isn't available in the uk and the version you were watching is apparently different than I was so I couldn't sync them

THE GOOSH!

I can only go with what I have available to me at the streaming services. Peacock was the one who showed up for me... I leave it on for the first few seconds with sound. There might not have been anything spoken in this one, but I figured people would sync the timestamp or the visuals... I can see if I can remember to clip something with dialogue... Netflix no longer had this... There's a more widely available service for this one?

GoldArthur

Does this mean Lord of the Rings is possible?

Joe Banks, 82 years young

Funny little thing about this movie, Harry doesn't cast a single spell. at most he does the "up" thing for the broom, and accidentally disappears the snake glass. but no real spells. some wizard he is eh?

Alistar

So fun fact: The original title of the book/movie is The Philosopher's Stone, but it was changed in America cuz Rowling didn't think kids would wanna read a book with philosopher in the name

Jake from SF

I wonder... were you watching the extended version? I'd be perfectly synced and next thing I know you're commenting on something I haven't seen and shortly later I'm like oh he's reacting to something I saw a minute ago. I'll re-sync it based on what you're reacting too and in short term I'll be 20 seconds ahead and then a minute. So the only two things I can think is either extended version or there's different scenes shown/cut between sorcerers stone and philosophers stone as I'm watching philosophers stone and you the sorcerers stone.
