Laxus handled his fate with dignity. And Gramps' acknowledgement of his grandson was pretty awesome!

Did Grandeeney forget to mention Wendy? Weird. Though since they put it here instead of where it actually happened, I guess it might have been a bit on the nose. Also, Ultear wasn't bathing. Screw you, anime! And no mention of Zeref being alive either. Why would they cut all the excellent foreshadowing if they're going to include those scenes after all? xD Maybe they just needed to get 20 min of runtime.

Everyone’s send off for Laxus in the parade is one of my favorite moments in the series

Personally i prefer the animes method of doing it, it sprinkles the foreshadowing properly throughout the course of the arcs rather than assblasting you with exposition

Yeah some of the characters in FT operate on the anime trope of "When I'm your enemy I'm downright sociopathic, but as soon as I change sides I'm the chillest, most likable person"

Psychostalker

I like how it goes from I wanna kill everyone in the guild including my grandfather to I'm sorry I just want to help us. Also I'll never get past the names of moves are translated in the sub it just doesn't roll off the tongue like the dub does lol
