OOF! Sam's speeches to Frodo hit my feels HARD! And the battles in here were some of the best I've ever seen!

I WATCHED THIS MOVIE AT (HBO) MAX.

The friendships in LOTR movies is one of the best parts, particularly between Legolas and Gimli, who started off not liking each other.

Fritz

Once again I adore Sam. I think about that speech a lot. Also yeah the Battle of helm's deep is legendary. Can't wait to watch this reaction later.

FantasiA

We love Samwise Gamgee in this house

Welp only got halfway before MEGA decided i'd exeeded my transfer quota and now i gotta wait 5 hours to watch the rest,

Same! This has never happened before, something possible wrong in file size, Curtis? nevermind, the file size is 1.48gb which should not anything "too big"

V_VMat

Mega is having a spasm or something, I have never before exceeded the transfer quota limit and I have downloaded who knows how many of your anime reactions in bulks. and they are usually around 700mb/video so 1.48gb should not be anywhere near my limit, yet the movie reaction got only to 10% in, before it cut out, and this was first I checked today... so there has been at least 18 hours since last watch

Darryl Robson

Man how the hell did Gimli get more kills than Legolas. He was shooting down ladders and doing badass Tony Hawk shit. I don't buy it Gimli, pics or it didn't happen.

THE GOOSH!

I’m hearing this from several people. I allot a big bunch of bandwidth for you guys to use, so I’ll check my account and make sure they’re not screwing up.

V_VMat

(Well managed go around the issue with VPN, but didn't risk another "limit" so I downloaded the video immediately and watched that way) Entmoot; "Look, so many Groots!"

Brian Dorchak

Great reaction! Curtis, just a heads up, for the final movie you’ll want to watch the extended cut so you can get some closure on Saruman. The cinematic release leaves out a lot.

He's been watching extended editions the entire time, so i'm sure he'll finish up with one

I was able to download the video without a problem, so maybe it's fixed now? Honestly you can't help but feel bad for Gollum, he goes through so much, his mind is utterly shattered and he's constantly abused. Honestly I'm really tempted to pick up the book after having re-watched this with you, there's a lovely Deluxe edition with illustrations from Tolkien himself, it's... it's not cheap though, it's £100 but I think it might be worth it, it's not a small book either lol, 1184 pages, I'll keep a note of it and maybe buy it for the holidays.

My favorite lines coming from Gimli. We could take them Don't tell the elf He was twitching because he's got MY AXE EMBEDDED IN HIS NERVOUS SYSTEM It is also awesome to see the friendly rivalry and banter that grew between him and Legolas. He didn't like Legolas on principle at first

Eowyn is wife material, I mean minus her apparently bad cooking. XD Still, she's attractive and I'd take her over Arwyn, though some may disagree. 1:55:30 I was sad that general died, he knew what Gandalf was up to when they freed Theoden and held bakc his co-general from attaking Aragorn and co. whenthey started beating up Grima and his thugs. The beasts are called Wargs they's basically roided up hyenas, minus the laugh. When Saruman was giving his speech, Grima actually shed a tear. It's never clear what it means aka if he was in pure dread or in awe. I think it's the former as he is greedy, but not a mass-murderer and despite his treasonous actions, Rohan is still his homeland and he likely only lusted for Eowyn and possibly the desire to usurp the throne from Theoden. Beyond that though, I don't think he expected Saruman to go on the "scorched earth" warpath. If Eowyn and Rohan are gone then he has nothing. The horse that wakes Aragorn up is the same horse he said for the Rohirrim to let go since the horse was in grief over it's previous owner, Theodred, aka The King's son's, death. So the horse found Aragorn and saved him as it had taken a liking to Aragorn when he calmed it down. I actually don't envy Theoden's predicament. He has to give a display of being confident to keep his soldiers and people hopeful. He is not being arrogant or anything, but he knows how morale can affect one's ability to fight in battle. If he acts fearful and that there is no hope, then those under him will feel the same. The conscription scene always rips me up, seeing that dad hug his wife and that boy's mom pleading for the soldiers not to take him. Theoden also deeply hates having to do it, hence why he asked his general "who am I?" What's impressive is that old man got a throat shot on pure accident. Still first blood goes to Rohan! Pippin played a 4D chess move with "going south" He knew Treebeared would be PISSED if he saw the devastation. And thus, HE brought about Saruman's downfall. 3:14:00 I get a chill when Theoden says that to Aragorn, cuz its literally two kings charging together to meet their sworn enemy. Sam is indeed amazing! Best broski for sure

DevilJynx

I wanted this to be seperate, but Idk if you're familiar with him or not. Windham Rotunda aka Bray Wyatt passed away today. As did Terry Funk.

Yeah, that Deluxe edition with the illustrations would be awesome! I remember being back in the UK like 15 years ago, and they had the full trillogy (extended version) on DVD for like £30... where as in Australia, it was like £40-£50 equivalent, per movie haha.

Devil Owner

Really glad you're enjoying the LOTR trillogy Curtis! Looking forward to the last movie's reaction🤘

GoldArthur

I'm too excited for the final movie to have anything to comment XD

Psychostalker

One of the only times I could actually hear the feels getting to you in all the reactions I've watched. Sam is the friend everyone needs and no one deserves. Can't wait for return of the king.

Chris Illsley

Amazing Reaction! Found you through LOTR but I see you’re doing Breaking Bad too so my fav movies and favourite show of all time so I’ll stick around to watch those along with you! My only ask is with the last movie (if you haven’t already recorded it) is spend more time talking about it at the end. I’d love to hear you discuss the films more at least like 5-10 mins just about the series as a whole and your full thoughts. But seeing as my only criticism is that I want you to discuss more I think that’s a pretty damn good sign! Haha

My favorite line from ending charge Theoden said: "Fell deeds awake. Now for wrath! Now for Ruin and a Red Dawn! Forth Eorlingas!" as they charge always gives me chills.
