Cid is gonna take on this ego-driven "knight"... I'm very interested to see how this goes!

I love how Cid assumes the girls are just going along with his role playing. "Did you hire extras?" when they said they brought over 100 reinforcements. And all the money he earned up until now was just to make his Shadow lair look cool for any visitors :)

I love how completely unbothered Cid and Alexia are about their situations, the living incarnation of "Oh no...anyway" As always, Cid assuming people are going off his roleplaying, when everything is in fact reality. It can get confusing sometimes because the real plot happens a bit outside of Cid's vision, and since we're mostly following him who doesn't believe any of it is real, it can get tangled up. As for his power level, well, i'm sure you'll come to see it yourself (or have already, given you're a few episodes ahead), but think of Cid as another Ainz, or any other overpowered protag really, he is THAT guy, no matter who goes up against him. Which is very fortunate, if he wants to keep up his roleplay :D

Honestly, I think Alexia was just playing it safe. She doesn't want to upset the already unstable scientist or get him riled up (as if he needs any help in that department) since he's the psyco holding the needle. She seems like someone who stays cool under pressure unless someone pokes at her vulnerabilities like her complex involving her sister.
