Darth Maul seems to have run into some complications in life, but he's still a huge threat when teamed with his brother!

Maul is voiced by Sam Witwer, who also voiced The Son on Mortis. Incredibly talented guy, he's really showing off in this episode.

I really like Darth Maul in the Clone Wars, but it's kind of a huge stretch having him coming back, he was the main villain of the first film and was able to fight both Obi-Wan and his master Qui-Gon at the same time, like they said, he killed Qui-Gon, but was killed by Obi-Wan, and it wasn't a wishy washy death were there's doubt if he's dead or not, no, Obi-Wan cut him in half on Naboo and he falls down a long tunnel. Oh, also in the first film Darth Maul is a silent villain, he never says a word to the heroes, and only speaks two lines total in the film. The contrast between the original stoic and methodical Maul, and this new crazy version is obviously intentional to show how broken he is now.

Fun fact, the “chains” Maul is referring to come from the Sith code. “Peace is a lie. There is only Passion. Through Passion, I gain Strength. Through Strength, I gain Power. Through Power, I gain Victory. Through Victory my chains are Broken. The Force shall free me.”

Maul is so freaking cool. He was the best part of the movie and I've been waiting for him to show up in clone wars. I just love his design.

question, did you ever watch the phantom menace or any of the prequal movies? you may have answered this before but i can't remember, i'm just curious ^^ and if not are you planning on doing a react to the movies, now that your doing more movie reactions lately.

Joel Miller

Darth Maul is the one Sith that went from D Tier to S Tier. The biggest mistake that The Phantom Menace made was George killed Maul too early. The way that he said the Sith took everything from him and out for revenge against Obi-Wan. Maul represents Hatred.

That snake sounds like Babidi from DBZ haha

Nope, haven’t seen them… I already have a lineup of upcoming movies for the YT channel and here. I don’t know if I’ll get to those or not… Hopefully at some point. 😊
