I like Azuma, out of all the seven deadly douchebags he's the most respectable i think, just a straight up let's duke it out kinda guy. Very ominous narration from Lucy too, "We believed we would win", one hopes there's more to that than a straight up admittance of defeat

A plan like this is what makes Hades the most dangerous foe they've taken on. He knows the secrets of the guild while FT is mostly in the dark about Grimoire. Azuma does want to give Erza a fair chance to defeat him so he technically gets what he wants out of her, but also remained in compliance with his orders. If Erza loses though its game over for FT.

Yeah as opposed to Rose who's coming off as a cheap pansy. I think even bluenote expressed some disappointment with Hades plan.

I just realised! There's more connection to One Piece in Fairy Tail now. First we have Shanks (Gildarts) and now we have _______ (Azuma)!!

THE GOOSH!

Yea, I do like the villains who are of the "screw the noise, let's just fight" mentality.
