And Asirpa and Sugimoto forge on together!... And Ogata is apparently also immortal!

The reuniting of Sugimoto and Asirpa embodies this series, a touching moment between two people with Shirashi then peeing on everyone. Also, Koito stealing the spotlight by cutting a grenade in half was badass, for a character whose generally played as a silly Tsurumi fangirl he's actually one of the most dangerous characters in the series in terms of skill.

Also, the information Ogata was giving Asirpa about what Sugimoto supposedly said to him was actually all accurate (it's information Sugimoto talked about while they were traveling together). The only part he messed up on was about the Monkfish stew, because that was something from his own childhood memories that intruded on his thoughts. Also, Ogata wanted Asirpa to shoot him. He wants to believe that everyone in the world is as twisted and broken as him deep down, because if they aren't it means that he's got no excuse for being as bad as he is. It's why he tried to corrupt his brother, and then killed him when he couldn't, and he saw that same thing in Asirpa so tried to do the same to her. It's why he was smiling after she shot him because he saw turning her into a killer as his win.
