Why do you unsub and resub Patreon memberships?

Patrons who unsubscribe and re-subscribe to my (or anyone's) Patreon: Can you share why? No judgement, because I do this as well but I'm curious what everyone's reasons are.

usually it’s when the uploads for a few weeks are non related to what I initially subbed for. So I unsubscribe then come back when there are uploads I want to watch and if there aren’t then I don’t sub back , I guess that’s it for me

My husband doesn't want me to spend money on Patreon. I'm a sahm. I just graduated though so I'm hoping to come back once I secure my own income.

I have unsubscribed mostly because the additional content on Patreon was not that much more or different than the free content on YT. Also when a reactor started emphasizing other groups I was not as interested in.

Honestly…consistency. I love knowing whats to come every week, splashed with a few surprise releaases every now and then is ideal. If its been too long between the next episode of whats to come, I just unsubscribe and wait it out until the new things come. If theres consistency I never let the membership lapse.
