I decided to unleash this one early and next week we'll be watching a really fun throwback episode of Heat Eaters/First We Feast from the ATE era!! (Still such a vibe to this day).

But what an amazing track from Han (no surprises here though).

I interpreted it as a counterpart to "Hold My Hand," but I'm not sure what the original intention or meaning of the song is since I haven't been online at all so fill me in! What did I miss or need to know!? 👀

hii lovely! this song is about his struggling adventure with anxiety! this song was made three years ago, but he just obviously just released it! The black demon looking things is his mind trying to consume him, and it’s about him finding peace with it!

Warning, long yap ahead! This song was immediately so special to me from the moment I first listened. It was what finally bumped me from an OT8 bias, Han bias-wrecker to a Han bias, OT8 bias-wrecker 😂 I’ve always resonated with the music Han writes but this felt like a message from the universe delivered through my favorite artist haha. I’ve always loved punk rock (I’ve listened to Green Day, simple plan, blink, all time low, etc since I was a kid) so I lost my mind when this song was dropped. I’ve come to a point in my life where I’ve experienced many highs and lows, and over the past year I’ve developed this sort of anxiety around getting better just to get worse again. Even after getting better, my happiest moments were often bittersweet because I couldn’t help but imagine being in that dark place again. I’m so grateful to Han for sharing this message and reminding himself and us that it doesn’t matter how many times you fall because you can always come back from it! I could go on and on about the imagery as well. The contrast between the still room that he’s physically sitting in versus what’s going on in his mind as everything crumbles around him, along with the shadows closing in on him, is SO relatable (especially to those with anxiety, I feel). And the fact that he sings and slams on the guitar through all of that - it’s a beautiful metaphor. Anyway, obviously I love the song and I appreciate everything you had to say as well! 🩷
