The Dub is surprisingly good - however there has been recent recasting of a few characters (main included) that really doesn’t work - the acting is serviceable, and the base voices really workED but it really has declined.

Also with it being based on a light novel details and dialogue is very important so having the subs to follow is a must for a deep reaction-review like you guys do. If you have a casual watch tho the dubs fun.

They put on subtitles when they watch dubs too. They need it so they can talk while watching

Re;Zero has a great dub. But they honestly got the best the industry has to offer when they were auditioning the Japanese voice actors.

CosmoNeto140

That’s an unfair argument most people can muti-task, that and the denser the dialogue the more meaning gets lost in the dubbing process - same for translation but not as much. And the average audience for re zero cares a little more about the details then MHA.

Also a 2nd more important point, if they felt that was 100% needed due to what you say, they would always do dubs which is fair enough; instead they leave it up to fans because that’s not a priority. It stands to reason that they prioritise the majorities’ and their own experience with a show, polling/asking for opinion, to maximise that.

Sub is one of the best out there
