I have been severely deprived these past weeks. At last, Re:Zero.

It is not spelled out in the show but the loophole in Echidna's contract is basically the "In the end" part. What Subaru wants is to get the perfect ending, and Echidna will guide him to it, BUT What Echidna wants is knowledge of every possible route, so first she will take him through all the possible routes 100% all achievments unlocked, every bad ending included. She also waited to pitch the contract until Subaru is absolutely broken down emotionally, and made him feel like she is the only on she can rely on. People are often suprised here that Subaru is willing to accept it so quickly and doesn't ask any questions, but that's the result of her basically grooming him for this all along.

Rizz god Subaru be like "Ok Echidna, it's equivalent exchange. I'll give you half my life, so give me half of yours"

It’s hilarious rewatching this and seeing them react to different things but it’s looks so normal otherwise

Retro Saturn 20

Also 90% of your questions would be answers if you guys read the ifs

Nice 👍

JamJamJam

Really great theories. Can't wait for next episode

Retro Saturn 20

Yall have to do a spoiler free cut content episode PLEASE

Reuben Filimaua

Yeeah its all a part of the plan. It is a shame that the anime didn't explicitly highlight Subaru's jump to the contract being due to his desperation.. being at his wits end trying to solve this Sanctuary/Mansion double problem. Echidna is indeed quite the Witch.

Sean

Where can you watch the Ifs? Ive seen this series likr 10x with different reactors but I've still never watched the Ifs. Those are the What If Subaru did something different right? Are they different from the stories that tell about the different witches and stuff? Haven't seen those either.

Sean

What do you mean spoiler free cut content episode?

Retro Saturn 20

There ares lots of cut content that didn’t make it into anime it doesn’t really change the story but the light novel has a couple of crazy scenes adds scenes that won’t get animated (unless this show gets rebooted which I doubt) some of the I jus don’t know if to creators of the video mentions spoilers to future arcs so I would consider that before just finding one
