To explain the Rui infighting... Rui split into two, one to experience RBD firsthand and the other to stay in the Memory Zone. Rui 1 has experienced RBD firsthand, while Rui 2 only has the memories of RBD. Rui 1 realizes that RBD is insanely traumatic and tries to explain to Rui 2, but Rui 2 is still desperately curious to feel RBD firsthand. Rui 2 believes that Rui 1 is simply hoarding the experiences of RBD for herself.

And here I was, to bring up the KH2 quote, but y'all already got that covered-- so perfect. Exactly why I was dying the moment the KH comparisons started, because you were COMPLETELY RIGHT, and it was SUPER DELIBERATE. Absolute cinema. Honestly, though, what a damned good episode. "Emilia-tan" being setup in the *first arc* just for the payoff here? Too good. And all of Natsuki Subaru and Natsuki Subaru just go without saying, at this point. "Title episodes" for a character are always fire, and so of *course* the MC has so many of them in this arc. And now? It's TURNING POINT TIME! Objectively the hypest part of every story arc in Re:Zero. The hype is reeeeeeeeeeeeeal!

I agree with Rhett.... i really would've liked for OG Subaru to tell Amnesia Subaru how amazing he is as well for managing to come all this way. Even if it is ultimately a good thing... it's still heartbreaking that this "Second" Subaru had to disappear. And even if OG Subaru has his memories now as well.... it's obvious that he's not the same, or a "merge" of both identities.... which is why i think he was crying after Amnesia Subaru disappeared, cuz he essentially witnessed another version of himself vanish...... he basically experienced "death" in a completely different way... which is crazy and really sad. Im not a LN reader so i don't know what's coming next..... but i would really like if at some point when Subaru and company return home... he takes the time to make a Grave for Amnesia Subaru, it would be a good way to symbolically acknowledge that he indeed existed, and that his struggle and journey will not be forgotten... but also that they did left a mark in this world.
