SilverAtlas

Avalon is the scabbard that contains Excalibur. Kiritsugu used it as a medium to summon Saber. Keep it on your mind because it is a really important noble phantasm not only in Fate Zero but also in Fate Stay Night.

SilverAtlas

If you are hit by an origin bullet you cannot use your magic circuits again. The second bullet didn't hit Archibald, Kiritsugu shot it so Archibald would use a spell to protect himself. The effects of the first bullet are what clapped Archibald, as soon as he tried using his magic circuits to cast a spell it compleatly fucked his whole body.
