Hi all,

As you may know I have (in the last several months) made it a rule to write at least 1000 words a day on my primary story. And I have stuck to that, which has helped me speed along my stories.

However, I was thinking about pushing that to a minimum of 2000 words a day on the primary story. That should significantly speed up my publishing time.

I wanted to know what you all thought. Do you think 1000 words a day is decent or should I try for the 2000 - knowing that I have other real life commitments too, remember (but I think it should be possible)?

As an aside, for those pledging or those thinking they might one day, would the faster 2k writing make you consider staying pledged or pledging? As you all know I am trying to make writing my full time job and I want to make it worthwhile for you all.

Currently I post a BtS post every two-three days usually. And I publish my stories as fast as I can (usually within two-three months at the current speed). Would writing more motivate you to stay/pledge?

If not, don't worry, I am not pressuring you! I am honestly just trying to find out what I can do to help make this a full time job for me and deliver quality stories for you. So thank you for any feedback on these questions.

I'm good with what you feel. Don't feel pressure to increase output, I understand you have paying patrons and there's a certain level output that you probably want to meet. As long as Shadow is feeling good and writing, I am happy too. The BTS stuff is worth it for me tbh. Continued happy writing.

You do you. So long as the quality doesn’t slip, I don’t care if you write 2 words a day.

I appreciate that. And I will always write so I am happy with what I have done. I just hope you all enjoy what I come up with :)

As other said, I'd be obviously very happy if you can write more since I love your stories ! However I'm already very content with the current BTS. Wouldn't want you to burn out 👍

More content would mean I would stay subscribed more regularly but its definitely not worth it if it would mean a drop in quality or uncomfortable stress. So do what makes sense for you.

Thank you for that. I will make sure I put the quality first and consider my health with whatever I decide. I did wonder if people would prefer more writing, but the stories are still going to take a while with how long they are. Is there anything you would like to see content-wise more often?

Do what is manageable for you. I’ve been following you since Literotica when you hadn’t finished out the original Sophie stories. You’re probably the only author/artist that isn’t “mainstream” that I’ve seen consistently produce over the same time period. Many lose their inspiration, grow bored, or burnout. While I desire you to be successful, do not stretch yourself to thin. That doesn’t mean you can’t do (or try to do) more, only that you should be mindful when you do so. Nothing ventured, nothing gained and all that. But, you are in a marathon and not a sprint. Especially if you are talking about switching to this in a more full time capacity.
