Super excited to finally have our Community Town Hall session with Laura Woods today at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST. Laura will be talking in-depth with us about NFTs within the music industry and Web3. There will also be some time for you to bring a topic, question or some feedback to the session. Laura has spent 8 years working in the electronic music industry in A&R and Promotion roles for independent labels such as Cr2 Records & RAM Records. She was also Marketing Manager for London's biggest Electronic Music Festival, SW4. Working with artists such as; Nile Rodgers, Fatboy Slim and Avicii. She has organised events globally; London, Miami, Amsterdam, Ibiza and Los Angeles to name a few.

Laura moved into the Web3 space in 2018 where she spent more than 2 years working as PR & Marketing Manager for different Blockchain startups including the self-sovereign identity platform Selfkey/KYC Chain as well as Radix, a new DeFi protocol masterminded by Dan Hughes, who was one of the creators of the NFC technology behind contactless card payments.

Laura has also been writing about NFTs and their use from as early as 2018 and was interviewed by the BBC last month for her expertise in this area. As a Publicist for music & technology companies since 2020, Laura has placed clients in publications such as The Washington Post, Forbes, Entrepreneur, The New York Post, The Daily Mail and many more.
