Very interesting plot! It makes it harder and harder to know who's good and who's not. And Kate is right: Leyla abandoned him. If only, it feels weird to choke him only to be nice now, but I guess snakes sometimes are. I don't know, I thin Charles is doing fine and he should play both sides for now and enjoy the advantages of it.
