Today I had my first trial class in artistic roller skating, and I’m completely captivated by it! 🛼✨ After everything that’s happened in the past few months, I felt the need for an extra activity that would challenge me both physically and mentally.

Artistic roller skating is not just about gliding on wheels; it’s a beautiful blend of movement, grace, and strength. It combines the elegance of classical ballet with the dynamic power of muscle training, both of which are already a big part of my life now 🥰

Did you know that artistic roller skating actually shares a lot in common with classical ballet? The focus on balance, poise, and fluidity is essential in both disciplines. The precision and control required for the spins and jumps in skating are similar to the techniques used in ballet. And just like in muscle training, it demands strength, flexibility, and endurance to perform those graceful yet powerful moves 🤩
