Can see someone using unheard of magic plants to "poison" someone, trick them into thinking its a new disease, and profit off of them

I kinda want to smoke Dragonsweed. That sounds lit.

if i could conjure some into existence for you id do it but personally i think the tradeoff for cool dragon scales is that its like the nastiest weed ever

I suggest Plant that grows around ur head when you sleep in grass and soaks up dreams like sunlight

Spicy peppers are spicy to deter mammals from eating them while allowing birds to eat them and spread the seed far. What magical deterrents could plants use? Seeds that are poisonous/noxious until you travel far enough from the parent plant. Thorny berry bushes that protect the rabbit warrens in their roots but attack approaching wolves. Trees that heat or rust the metal axes of loggers. The farmers' bane: the Corn That Punches.

Bird burrs. When the hooks sink in, this activates a flapping motion on the shell (with a lift power disproportionate to the size, though one burr alone probably can't lift an adult human. But it's never just one burr, is it?)

Goblin fruits?

These are fantastic! I'd love to see more plants, maybe some sort of take on succulents but they store magical energy instead?
