Hey Matt you can control the length of the road your changing by placing a crossroad on it. Also I think you can get the same effect with the zoning by changing your collector/distributor road to highways and back as you zone them. Edit: Crossroad as in a road that intersects, not a pedestrian crossing.

Yeah then if you was to do Cambridge you’ll need to build universities everywhere and roadworks on every road with bike lanes 😂

As an American, that is a horrifying amount of roundabouts. Another great vid! Maybe in the next you could explain why cities have those alternating one-way roads? I've always been curious why they're designed that way...

Gvision

I actually recognise that intersection

As a person who lives near MK and has to drive there often… I can confirm it is crazy and wacky

While I joined for the satisfactory series, this series alone is worth my patreon money

Gabriel Osano

I created a Patreon account just to watch this series. Worth it! Love learning from a professional while watching gameplay <3

When blocking zoning with paths you can gain the space back which was taken by the path by pausing the game, painting the zoning and then bulldozing the path. If you delete the path before painting it might revert the zoning to the blocked road. It might look like the zoning is on the wrong road but in reality its just right up to the road. :)

There are parts of Chicago where they wanted to slow down traffic for the residential areas, so they just banged down a circular median in all the 4-way intersections and said "these are roundabouts now." It has some Milton Keynes energy.

I love Milton Keynes; just looking at it makes me fall in love with it.

I have a French friend who informed me, verge means pen*s in French. So all the signs saying ‘soft verges 100 yards’ in the UK has a slightly different meaning. Had to share due to the sheer volume of times you talk about verges in this video
