bridges are fun and all but...I'd really welcome more focus on factoring and a bit less on bridging honestly P.S. if it was pre-stream then generator trouble incoming - this should be a fun future video XD

Real Civil Engineer

Yeah this was pre stream, and your comment was the same thinking as me which is why I did the bridge building on stream (or tried to...)

Ummm…. Why are you bringing the oil all the way back to your base? Why not just build a mini base by the oil source and then only bring back dry goods? === Update: ahh for the environment….

I think that you'll be able to determine where to place the Pumpline Pump by checking where the white circular animation ends. It'll show you when the pumped oil stops flowing in your pipes. Also: You can Zoop delete many tiles/items in one go! Could be worth checking out ^^ Love the series! Good luck untangling everything in your future videos!

If you get the pipe junction then you can make water towers that work with any type of fluid as long as they are part of the same circuit. Applies to both oil and water

Buddy, you can delete multiple items at once by holding ctrl.

And also you said it yourself. Would have def been easier to process the oil where the node is and then run a belt back :D

I also have noticed on my own play-through that fluid buffers close to the plant help with intermittent issues, since the fluid can be "queued up" and does not depend on the flow rate of the pipe as much

P.S. 2 even though the bridge is TECHNICALLY not finished i wouldn't mind some RCE propaganda made from foundations placed right on top of it - would add value to the bridge and should be quick to rig up, just some foundations, and they stick so should be nice and easy and would be nice to look at while factoring away :)

Yah. Avoid moving liquids across the map unless packaged/conveyorable.(even with rail) And make sure the pumps are pointed the right direction. Your HUD is missing all the tool tips, I think scroll wheel will change pump direction. EDIT: Tho now I want to build a cross country pipeline...no.

from my experience, it's far easier to pump out the oil, directly to a refinery, then make plastic , then make barrels, then do a filler and just use conveyor to bring the fluid barrels long distances, and up and down and everything. just don't even bother with pumping fluids up hills.
