I see you guys are falling deeper into the rabbit hole called Stray Kids 🤣 Anyway, to answer your question, 4 of the girls already debuted in the group called ITZY, namely Yeji, Ryujin, Chaeryeong and Yuna. (ITZY has one more member but she wasn't in this show). And yes, Changbin is rich af 🤣 Glad to see you had fun. Looking forward to your reactions to the next episodes 😁

2Team is predebut ITZY at least some of the members. Definitely check out DALLA DALLA and ICY. ;) Stray Kids has THE best covers. Stray Kids has their own genre you know? So they definitely know how to make an original song sound like their own. My favorite Stay Kids covers are DNA (orig. BTS) & Hard Carry (orig. by Got7) which is a live stage performance at Music Bank in Berlin if you guys want to check that out and then their recent (Dec 2019) cover of 2PM’s Again and Again. Which I highly recommend reacting to. Bc the performance was for a music competition called Immortal Songs and this stage was the first time performing in front of JYP since the survival show. Ahh!! I’m getting emotional again with you guys LOL Bang Chan truly is the best leader. He deserves the world. Looking forward to next weeks reaction ❤️

Yey, I was waiting for your reaction :D Actually there are 3 the biggest companies -SM (they have NCT), YG (they have Blackpink) and JYP. Each company has a specific style when it comes to music and picking idols. Personally I am a huge SM stan, every SM group is exactly my taste. I noticed that JYP focuses on personal charms. SM may generally have better vocalists, YG rappers, but JYP has many really special, charming and charismatic performers.

loved the reaction, and tbh i biased chan throughout the whole survival show cause of how hard working and passionate he is, cant wait for ep 2 😌 and just so you dont feel bad anymore some of the trainees from the female group including yeji, chaeryoung and ryujin actually debuted as itzy under jyp in 2019, so it was just a question of who is debuting first. 🙃

oh wow thank you so much!! the people that subbed the survival show (strayksubs) actually redid the subtitles recently and will be reuploading them on to strayksubs.com from the 1st of august to the 10th. so you guys might want to wait for those to come out before you continue with the other episodes, they missed some things with the old subs so it'll be clearer and easier to follow!! if you'd like i could let you guys know after each episode is posted

Welcome on the journey on becoming a Stay! Not many people watch this show and see their debut journey. Glad you're enjoying it! Like everyone said above, Yeji, Ryujin, Chaeryeong and Yuna debuted in Itzy with another girl Lia. I'd highly recommended checking them out. Dalla Dalla, Icy and Wannabe are bops!

I know y'all didn't ask about the kids but those small children you saw in the trainee showcase actually debuted before Stray Kids xD They're trained and live in Korea but they are actually Chinese and only promote in China, they are so adorable yet so talented like pls they are my sons I love them so much ;~; Normally, in K-Pop entertainment companies, you don't really "get eliminated" in the terms you were speaking of here. As you can see, Chan was a trainee for 7 years, there are many many evaluations through out the trainee period and multiple showcases to check on the progress of the trainees as individuals and also test the groups they have put together to see if they work together. Even if they are choosing a debut team and your team doesn't make it, you don't necessarily go anywhere, you just go back to training and wait for the next opportunity. Some trainees leave the company because they feel like they can't wait or they won't be able to make a debut with that specific company. Other times, if you did really poorly, you aren't improving fast enough, or you are stuck at a stand still with your progress, sometimes the trainee will be let go from the company and they will either have to go back to normal life or start auditioning for new companies. To answer your other question about trainee life, on whether they get paid as trainees, it really depends on the company. Most of the time, the trainees are NOT paid, they are provided with living accommodations, most companies have cafeteria's so they are provided with a meal card that they can use at said cafeteria, and they are trained in rap, dance, singing, acting, and a lot of the time foreign languages or Korean language for foreign trainees. This isn't done for free though, throughout your trainee years you accumulate a debt to the company. They are making an investment on you, hoping to see a payout on all the things they provided you with. Once you debut, your first paychecks and a majority of the money you make typically goes back to paying that debt you owe to your company. There are many stories of trainees surviving off of kimbap (looks kinda like sushi but usually has tuna or ham in it not raw fish and is I guess the equivalent of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich price wise), and other "poor mans food" like packaged ramen ect.

I HIGHLY recommend searching up 3RACHA's "Runner's High" stage from that JYP Homecoming Showcase 2017. It's ICONIC. 3RACHA performances are rare, and that is one of their best. React to it if you can. Just in case you're unaware: the "director" you guys keep referring to is JYP himself- the guy who started JYP Entertainment. Sorry if that's something you already know lol
