I wanted to talk about this story, so I waited until episode 11. The autoscorer's defeat was, after all, part of the plan. The mainstream interpretation is that they lost without overcoming Ignite's power. However, I personally think it would have been impossible to beat autoscores even with Ignite's power. Gary and Leiur did not explicitly resist at the last minute. Phara, too, was simply destroyed as soon as the sodbreaker was broken.
