Finally, AXZ has started. First of all, the song used as the ed of the first episode is Trio by Maria, Sirabe and Kirika. Starting the first episode with Chris Tsubasa Hibiki's Trio, it showed the composition ending with a trio of Maria, Sirabe and Kirika, a big service for fans who had been waiting for two years since the GX season. (The trio songs of each team tried in the GX series were very well received.) The AXZ first part of the action scene proved its value as a strategic weapon for Symphogear, which was briefly mentioned in the first season. In the meantime, Symphogear has only been highlighted that it can prevent Noise's attack, but the reality is that it is an overwhelming firepower that converts the barrier system and Ponicgain into energy that works with mechanisms such as Noise. That's why Symphogear has been transferred to the UN, not to the Japanese government, since the GX season, when its existence was announced to the world, and there is a very political setting in this process. Three alchemist! Alchemist is a generic term for those who study heresy skills through alchemy, and vavarian iluminati is an organization they have assembled. Carol was an unparalleled powerful alchemist, but she didn't belong to the vavarian iluminati because she had the ultimate purpose. But before the GX began, Elf Nine testified that he had contacted her for some reason to fund Shatto's dryness. Vavarian iluminati may seem like a very sudden appearance, but you can hear Maria mention the name in episode 12 of G. With the revelation that they were also involved in the FIS's rise, the Symphogear series was able to successfully incorporate alchemy and vavarian iluminati into the story. I think the advantages are very good in script. I can't forget to talk about Chris. It was her past, which has been described in a vague way, but this time the name Valverde and Soniya were clearly mentioned. Please look forward to Hibiki's past, which was revealed in the GX season.

If you listen to Cagliostro's voice It felt a little weird. Yes, the voice actors who played Cagliostro were men.

There is a part that needs to be explained outside of the work about the expansion of AXZ's worldview. The Symphogear series serves a Smartphone Game called Symphogear XD. XD started its service around the start of the AXZ season, and through the game, it revealed a foreign story under the name of Symphogear 3.5. Unfortunately, it will be hard to get a translated version because XD's global server just ended its service. (English translation may be circulating on YouTube.) In 3.5, Maria and Tsubasa mentioned in this episode that they discovered vavarian iluminati while investigating the background of carol, and other alchemists from vavarian iluminati, which led to the expansion of the worldview related to alchemy. Three alchemists in the first episode appear to do some sort of thing related to the AXZ season. As for 3.5, it can not be explained until the content is released, as it will then touch other important elements of the AXZ. (Even if it's prequel, it could be a spoiler if I say it.)

The term "Dyciphine Barrier" that El Presidente used in this episode is a mis-translation. It should be Die Spinne Barrier. "Die Spinne" is German for "The Spider."

You have arrived at the, in my opinion, best season! It's not pronounced letter-by-letter this time btw, AXZ is pronounced "axis". At the end of the trailer for the season Yuuki Aoi calls it by name if you want to see hear it pronounced. The third three-way Unison song of the Div 2 girls, Gekishou Infinity. Another motivational gem that focuses on the strong bonds Hibiki, Tsubasa and Chris have forged with each other. It's a really good song. Elfnein still hasn't managed to complete the recipe for LiNKER, that's why the F.I.S. girls are kept out of the fray unless absolutely necessary. The AXZ transformations gave us the official designations of the Gears and I absolutely love the addition. Enter my favorite group of antagonists -- Saint-Germain, Cagliostro and Prelati. Fun fact: Cagliostro is actually voiced by a man, Shouta Aoi. His delivery is great and I love Cagliostro a lot (though Saint-Germain is my absolute favorite of the three). Really looking forward to your reactions to them throughout the season! The song the three sung was (actually not that bad but still slightly broken) German. The translation reads as follows: "The Song of Liberation burns a life to drill through the abyss of darkness with its flame. And the bell of liberation tolls the end, so give now a cry of victory to freedom. Build the future, which lasts for eternity, through death." And the ending graces us with my favorite triple-way Unison song, Senritsu Sorority. Similar to Gekishou Infinity, it focuses on the F.I.S. girls' bonds with each other and their fierce determination to get stronger together.

Good summary. It's pretty interesting how much the ending highlights the FIS girls as underdogs willing to fight the odds. That's their last shot of LiNKER and they aren't exactly in a desirable situation.

AXZ is honestly where things get super relevant. Once season 4 (this season) got the green light, they apparently were also given a green light for season 5 at the same time. So now the show has 26 episodes to work with essentially rather than a self contained single season story arc. Yes, just like each past season, the animation gets better and better- just wait til you see season 5's animation quality. The opening scene here really does showcase just how powerful the symphogear itself is. It grants incredible strength to the user in almost all aspects. I mean, lifting a tank? OP OP OP. You asked what language those 3 alchemists were singing in- its German. Sadly, the full version of that song doesn't exist. Probably too much on the voice actors. lol Pretending I haven't seen this season, I'll say; It seems like team Neapolitan won't be able to fight after this fight finishes as that is their final shot of linker. Wonder how long they will be out.... Get used to this format now though. You mentioned that this first episode almost had "2 opening fight scenes". Well that is going to be the new trend now. Just when you think things can't get more wild, they will. You will enjoy the ride. It will be fun.

Yep. I know. I have it on my phone. I was just saying I wish the German version was also the full version too.
