All but two of the YG trainees have debuted now! Jeon Woong (the one that trained at JYP and knows Chan) is in a group called AB6IX (under Brand New Music) and they debuted last year. Seunghun (grey hair and black top) also debuted last year in a group called CIX under C9 Entertainment. Yedam, Jihoon (white top) and Doyoung (the 13 year old) debuted at the start of this month in a group called Treasure still under YG Entertainment. I haven't really heard much of their stuff beyong their title songs but they have pretty good songs, if you want to check them out I recommend AB6IX's The Answer, CIX's Movie Star and Treasure's debut song BOY! YG is definitely known for rap/hip hop with groups like 2NE1, Big Bang, iKON etc. JYP was never known for having good rappers until SKZ debuted. Glad you guys enjoyed this one a lot, the JYP vs YG battle is so iconic. Also a little TMI haha Jeongin and Yedam are actually classmates now, not at the time though (Jeongin started high school a year late) and recently Hyunjin and the three boys in Treasure reunited because he interviewed them at Music Core when he was MCing!

This ep was like roller coaster for me. In one side, I felt bad for Jeongin as he lost his confidence due to many criticism he got from JYP in every performance. But, he always remain to show his best smile ever. He need to be protected in all cost. Also, yeah, Changbin and Jisung nailed the rap performance. You guys should check out the lyric of Matryoshka soon. Its okay if you guys wanna check it on your own. Next, I want to point out about Bang Yedam. He is super talented. I love his voice so much - so unique and rare vibes. If you guys interested to see how Bang Yedam grow, I am more than welcome to help you out with recommendations. As you guys have heard too in discord, some of people in this batle made it to debut with group named Treasure. One of them is Bang Yedam. I hope in the future, both of you will support them as well. They are so talented too and they went survival show as well same as Stray Kids. Last but not least, I feel you guys so much when this ep ended, i felt the same. It sucks, but yeah i really cannot wait for more hype in next ep ❤ love you guys! Thank you for the reaction. Always enjoyed it!

It's absolutely heartbreaking to watch Jeongin in this survival show - but what I love is the fact that you can see the massive progress he has made from 1000 miles away. His confidence has been soaring lately, and his live vocals just get better and better, as well as more stable with each performance. I'm so proud of the progress he has made in the past 3 years. And Chan's hard work and dedication never fail to amaze - and worry me to some extent haha. He's honestly so hardworking and it's so admirable; makes me feel bad about myself sometimes lmao. But I love how it just goes to show, that this is really what he wants to do with his time and that he's really putting his everything into his work. The fact that the boys just work even harder today just amazes me. As heartbreaking as this show is, it makes one appreciate the work the boys make so much more. Knowing just how hard they have been working and still are; it just makes their music and other content so much more meaningful from my perspective.

3RACHA SAUCE

Well Yedam honed his skills for 4 more years because he debuted in Treasure this month as the longest YG trainee because he trained for 8 years since he was 10 years old. Treasure was formed through the 2018 YG survival show YG treasure box and the final line up was supposed to debut at the beginning of 2019 however their debut was delayed for a while we didn’t hear anything from the group for a whole year until January 2020 when they released the performance film for Going Crazy 2020 version whichever is a song from the survival show. From then on we got a bunch of predebut content a variety show where the members bond and play games, small videos where they show their daily lives training along with school and what they’re up to and a bunch of dance/vocal covers. We got all that still without knowing when they’d debut until they finally announced that it would be in August. Members: Hyunsuk (leader), Jihoon (leader), Yoshi, Junkyu, Mashiho, Jaehyuk, Asahi, Yedam, Doyoung, Haruto, Jeongwoo, Junghwan. 4 of the members (Yoshinori, Mashiho, Asahi, and Haruto) are japanese and trained in YG japan before they came to Korea to join YG treasure box. Also Doyoung the 13 year old that was the youngest out of the trainees is currently my ultimate bias of all time he’s literally my favorite human being. He surprisingly isn’t the youngest in treasure, he’s 16 now and the eldest of their Maknae Line (which consist of the youngest members in a group). Their youngest member Junghwan is actually 15 born in 2005 and is currently the youngest male idol. I really hope that you guys checkout treasure because they’re sooooo talented and sweet also they’re having a comeback soon so you guys should check them out before their content gets too much to handle. You guys should watch YG Treasure Box if you guys like them. They currently have their debut song Boy and predebut song Going Crazy which have completely different vibes. Yedam got a solo song in june called Wayo which is so good and you guys will be able to see how much he has improved since this episode. Also that YG practice room always gives me so much anxiety. Anyone who stans a YG group understands how horrible yg is and I just get flashbacks whenever I see that room.

When we say you need to listen to 3racha we mean.... YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO 3RACHA! 😂 Matryoshka would be good to start with, you gotta listen to Chan rap his verse. It’s really sad that he wasn’t able to showcase his rap as 3racha but I guess I understand why JYP had to cut him. This ep made me appreciate Bang Chan so much as a leader, and overall such a diligent and hardworking person. That boy does not rest, I really admire his work ethic. I never understood JYP’s criticism on Jisung’s rap flow (he said the same thing to him last ep) but I’m glad he said that because Jisung really took his advice and now he is the one who switches his rap tone and flow the most in SKZ/3RACHA songs. That’s one of the many reasons why I love him. He’s improved so much and now he’s a monster (like literally can he chill? No) And Changbin man. After Hellevator, 2RACHA’s Matryoshka performance was one of the first videos I saw of SKZ and I was just absolutely blown away by Changbin. I remember all I was seeing about Stray Kids was this guy going MAAAAATRYOSHKA and everyone going crazy over it lol. He’s ALWAYS killing it with his performance. The charisma and strong rap tone just pulls you in instantly. I know we say Felix is the new fan bait, but Changbin could also share that title because every time I see new fans watching SKZ, they are always asking about Changbin because his rap is so impressionable. I’m telling you, 3RACHA is such a SOLID foundation for SKZ. They are the ultimate trio, and Korea is sleeping on them for real. Wow I talked a lot about 3RACHA lol. I just love them so much, they deserve all the love. And all of SKZ of course. I have soooo much to say about this episode (and i’d love to answer some of the commentaries/questions you guys had but I forgot them after writing my first bit lol), but this post will turn into an essay if I don’t stop here😅 This and ep 7 are my favorites by far. You guys will not be ready for the dance stage next week (that was also another viral video I saw of SKZ). I have something to say about it but I’ll reserve it for next week. Also the Blackpink performance lowkey made me a Jisung bias before I even biased Jisung in God’s Menu 3 years later😂 Some things were just meant to be😌 In the preview when they asking if “he” is coming, I think they were referring to a special guest. You guys will see some interesting cameos in the busking mission👀 Waiting 7 days is such torture😩 Also I love how you guys were trying to guess SKZ songs that haven’t even come out yet lol. I enjoyed your reactions as always, I’ll be sad when this is over because I really love the discussions here (but next is Finding SKZ so that will be exciting😏)

Also people saying u. Need to listen to 3racha, are correct they slap but be aware that u should ignore everytime they say the word ninja ( I may have said this before) but it caused problems for valid reasons so we tend to ignore the word

The JYP and YG battle is a long tradition. They only did the battles with the male artists. The Female artists don't do them. Black Pink is huge like you said, their music videos get millions and millions of views instantly with each comeback. They get have done numerous promotions/interviews and stuff in the Western world. Which leads to more global recognition. Whereas Twice is Korea's National Girl Group. They have insane amounts of album sales, music streams, music awards etc. Twice also racks up millions of views with their wide music discography. Both groups have different strengths and they kill the kpop scene.

Yes bang yedam is in treasure, I told you this boy had to go through a lot because of YG + this survival show was in 2017 actually :) also the 13 year old trainee has debuted with yedam in treasure but let me tell you he is not even the maknae (youngest)😂 treasure is really young ...

I honestly love the rap and dance performances, I rewatch them so often. You will love the dance performance :D Also I remember when Yedam performed on that talent show, K-pop Star, when he was a kid. So I was so excited to hear that he will actually debut in Treasure, after so many years. Many k-pop artists that we know now started from this show actually.

Ah, episode 6 and 7 are really one of my favorite episodes after all ❤️ Anyway, Changbin is unofficially the fastest Kpop IDOL Rapper (Not Kpop Rapper, there's a difference and that title belongs to someone else). Unofficial, I think, because he broke the record not on one of their songs, but during an episode of a variety show. Here's what happened: they were guests on Weekly Idol and they asked him to read/rap a sentence as fast as he could. And he did, unexpectedly breaking the record for the fastest syllable/sec at the time 🤣 Also, just an additional info. Jisung currently has the fastest rap in Stray Kids' discography and Changbin has the fastest rap in 3racha discography. Looking forward to your reaction on ep. 7! Everything is *chef's kiss*

What YG said to Jisung and Changbin is HUGE praise. In kpop, YG is known to have the best rappers. Changbin and Jisung are the FIRST ever JYP rappers to break the mold and be acknowledged as REAL, genuine rappers. When they debuted, everyone was shook because JYP has never had rappers as good as Stray Kids. Like YG said, they're the new generation of JYP rappers. Even people who are fans of other groups acknowledge that Stray Kids have one of the best rap lines in all of kpop. And yes ,you're right, Changbin is the fastest rapper in and Jisung is Top 10 in all of kpop

Yep SKZ is a completely differnet vibe for a JYP group, they never had a group with members so polished in rap. That isn't me being biased, JYP Ent. has said this before, and that SKZ is the new generation for JYP

BP and TWICE have completely different styles, concepts and marketing strategies. Both are very popular groups, but TWICE is known as the national girl group.

yes, i LOVE twice, got7 and day6, but their rapping is subpar compared to stray kids. But then again, those groups are a bit better with singing (for now) so it evens jyp out :) i cant wait to see skz grow and improve even more than they already have <3

frommy understanding, the three companies have 'their thing'. SM is known for singing, YG is known for rapping, and JYP is known for personality and maybe dance? but YG is known for their rappers, hence the comment about rapping lol.
