That MINHOOOOOO in unison😂😂 I love that. I live for you hyping up each of the members. I can’t help but smile seeing you guys sing along and get excited. You’ve come a long way from your first reactions to Hellevator and District 9 (well, member recognition still needs a little work👀) As much as SKZ are so hyped, your energies are also so contagious, it’s like I’m watching it for the first time with you. This was early SKZ but their stage presence and performance was like a veteran’s. Like you guys mentioned, their stamina is INSANE. I’ve watched a lot of their performances so them killing it doesn’t surprise me but I forget they were rookies in this MAMA stage so I was reminded how unbelievably good they were. They’re still young and they’re only going to get better from here. Enjoyed your reactions as always, I can’t wait for more live stages😁

Fun fact regarding the Rookie of the Year award. Stray Kids and Itzy have won the most rookie awards of any other groups ever. I believe it's 13 for Stray Kids, not sure about Itzy. Sadly their rookie days are over (debut + 2 years= rookie) so it will be harder to win awards since they will be competing against more established groups but Stay are trying hard to get them more wins. Our boys work hard and always deliver.

Okay so, a little info about MAMA. It stands for the Mnet Asian Music Awards, and they are basically the Academy Awards of the music world in Korea. They host them in Korea, Japan, or China, so it's not a different award just for Japan, that just happened to be where it was hosted at in 2018. It's the giant, end-of-the-year award show that most artists aspire to perform/win in. However, they are full of scandals too. There's a lot of talk in the music world about Mnet (the company that produces the award show) not being fair; dividing up awards so one group can't win them all; ignoring real winners of awards because of fights with that company; not inviting groups to perform who should have been there; not nominating groups for awards because Mnet has beef with their company; etc. There's been a lot of bad blood especially since 2017. But even Gdragon of Big Bang wrote a diss song about MAMA and performed it at MAMA in 2014. So it's been going on for a long time, and you have to kind of take the awards there and the politics that happen with a grain of salt sometimes.

As an EXO-L, I was proud seeing a group that debuted recently performing EXO’s songs and killing it. SKZ added their colors to EXO’s songs and it was pretty cool, especially growl, you can see EXO’s color mixed with SKZ. Bang Chan did an amazing work in arranging the beat, I am so proud of him, as I can say this is THE best cover that I ever seen of both growl and overdose. Also, if you ever decided to react to EXO, I would recommend monster, obsession ( maybe before this you should watch their debut song mama to get an idea about their powers) , tempo, and power.
