Fun fact: Chris' sneeze is actually her saying XV. It's a joke of the staff and VAs. Since XV's reveal during the 2018 live concert, the girls came up on stage, all fake-sneezing the name since the Japanese pronunciation (Ekushibu) reminded them of a sneeze. The old transformations were about 30 seconds long, while XV pumped them up to 50. That's why they feel longer, because they are 👍 I love all the songs in this episode so much. Kirika and Shirabe's highlighting their growing confidence, Shirabe especially not focussing on how the moon can't shine on its own but rather singing how she shines light on everything together with Kirika. And Angelic Remnant. The choreography, animation quality, outfits, the lyrics, absolutely everything about it was beautiful and amazing. It's such a powerful song and the animation team did it the justice it deserved. Enter Elsa, group mom and vampire child. (Elsa is a werewolf btw, not a cat). I'm really looking forward to your reaction to their group dynamic.

I know this was discussed on the Discord but just to throw in another explanation for why security wasn't tight at the concert, as far as SONG knew, the thing the Illuminati were after was in the hands of the Americans, so they had no reason to assume they'd attack the Gear users. Fun Fact: USS Thomas Whitmore, the US Carrier that was attacked, is named after the US President in Independence Day.

For starters, I'm SO tired of Fudo. All he does is shows up to complain. He makes ever situation sound like it could have been avoided or fully dealt with if they just tried hard enough. Old man, get your butt on the stage if its that easy! Apparently Kirika's transformation sequence was originally 9 seconds longer, but that extra had to be cut for time reasons. We only got a partial pole dance.... lol Sure, her "theme" to that is a little.... adult, but realistically its not bad. Unlike the previous seasons, this season is focusing on unique themes and styles for each of them. Its not the same generic transformations. Gotta feel bad for Tsubasa. The attack happening at all is a tragedy and total PTSD for her. Her dropping her sword at the end is probably just her feeling completely broken about it all. What I'm more concerned about honestly is Maria. They were not expecting a noise attack. As such Maria clearly had no linker in her system. She was fighting without it. And as we know, that is generally a bad thing. I'll be curious to see how you guys feel about the new villains this season. From this episode alone, most of us instantly HATED vampire chick with a burning passion. But like anything else, you'll see how things progress.... Also, Elsa is a wolf. You can see from the opening that the creature behind her is a wolf.

Little note. Kirikia's transformation was a second draft, as the animator had to scrap the first version for being too lewd. Also, when the camera zooms in on the X on her hat she puts up 3 fingers for 13. The 13th card of the tarot is Death.

In refrence to concert performances. S4 took like 2~ weeks from start to finish. Remember that the first scene is before the start of school(which was sept 1), and it ended on hibiki's bday, sept 13.
