You can't get mad at Hibiki using talk no jutsu woth Noble Red on the argument that they killed a lot of people. Saint-Germain literally kept a head count of how many people she killed, Carol wanted to enact the destruction of all creation and Finé most definitely also killed people before S1. Using talk no jutsu on her enemies, disregarding what they may have done beforehand or what they are still trying to do, is literally Hibiki's key point.

Isn't it funny how Maria is the oldest of the group, yet her transformation is less lewd than Kirika's? I have bias as you can probably tell, but Maria's is my favorite for sure. Just wish it was a little longer I guess. A little more flavor elements. The theme is all there, but it just feels short. I'm 100% sure you guys will both claim Tsubasa's transformation as your favorite though. And no, the opening has not shown any hints to the other user's golden powers. This episode gave so much theory hype for the rest of the show. Everyone after seeing Saint Germain show up like this was hoping for Kanade to show up and help Tsubasa ETC. I'm telling you though, you two might have to break your normal schedule rules as the show nears its end. The last person I watched react to this season couldn't stick to the 2ep per week thing. When they reached ep10, they had to binge the last few due to hype. I can see that happening for you as well.

Vanessa mentions the Die Spinne barrier in this episode again. Last time we saw one was in AXZ at the opera house. It's a barrier discovered by Germany during WWII while doing their research into the occult. It's capable of blocking any sort of detection, including the Aufwachen waveforms a relic gives off, but the power of the bracer exploding the agent was enough to destroy it. Fudo having Noble Red kill the agents for their failure was him using them as an example of what happens when you fail. Surely it was meant to be a threat to Noble Red as well. Edit: Oh, you forgot to mark the "Hibiki attempts to turn antagonist good" square in the video :)

Maybe unrelated but after finishing xv you could check out youjo senkin aka saga of Tanya the evil. Big contrast in roles if you like hibiki's voice actor it's amazing.

At least Saint Germain was trying to achieve something good. It was a "the end justifies the means" kind of situation. Noble Red are already past redemption with the 100k. You really have to forget about the 100k if you want to take NR seriously this season.
