This is just overkill lol. We got 6 mad performances and the groups just keep getting better and better with their stages. This gon be a really long one. ONF-I’m not very familiar with Oh My Girl but just from seeing this performance I have to say, YooA is such an amazing dancer. The control in her body was insane, I get amazed every time by her intro. If Everybody was dark and aggressive, this was like heartbreaking and elegant. The concept is just so sick, and I’ll say it every time, ONF vocals are another level. Probably my favorite part about their performances, I just love their singing so much. The arrangement was soooo good too (lowkey gave me anime vibes?). This was like a musical and I absolutely loved the intricacy of the props and imagery. That hand clock was so dope, and I love the whole conductor theme woven in there too. Now that I’m writing this I get a sort of Phantom of the Opera vibes from it, like a little bit. The way they added Moscow Moscow at the end was so beautiful. This was such a solid performance. ONF just continues to slay. Golden Child-Listen, you can never do wrong going in the classical direction (musically-wise). I love that they added strings into their arrangement but still retained a bit of pop in there. I don’t have a lot of background on the members but Joochan, I believe who played the violin, I have to give him all the props. First of all, he played a Paganini piece, and I’m not sure if you guys are familiar with him but Paganini is known to compose some of the most difficult violin pieces ever, and this was one of them. I heard that Joochan doesn’t really read scores and he plays by ear so the fact that he just did that was extremely impressive. I can’t imagine how much he had to practice for this bit. He really pulled that off huh. And after he just did a bunch of dancing and singing too? Words cannot describe the level of appreciation and respect I have for this man. That was amazing, the violin was like the best climax this performance could’ve ever needed. ONEUS-So unlike the other group’s performances, LIT was actually the only song I have heard beforehand when I first watched this ep and I will say this, that song is legendary. It is so iconic on its own that there’s honestly not much you have to do in terms of arrangement to give that festive feeling you saw in their stage because the song is already so festive. You gotta watch the mv for it, it’s so amazing. The same goes for the concept too and I LOVE the fact that instead of taking a new direction, they amplified the original theme and made it more bombastic because the concept is already so dope. There are a lot of Korean traditional references that kind of goes over your head if you’re not familiar with them, but just know that the concept was genius. A ‘Kingdom’ themed stage for Road to Kingdom, so smart. Talking about all the references could be a post of its own lol. ONEUS definitely stepped up their game with this stage and I have to mention this: Seoho, the guy with the long rap verse, he’s actually the main vocalist lol, but was injured so they had him do a rap part on the throne. He killed it too. One of my fav performances of this round, the energy they exuded was so hype and I just really really enjoyed it. Verivery-Lemme talk about Ravi for a sec because I was so surprised when he appeared and I just need y’all to know that VIXX, the group he’s from, is such an iconic group. They are known to be THE concept kings. If you ever do a reaction to their mvs you gon be shook. Anyways, to talk about Verivery’s perf, a nice switch up from the last round. I think this definitely suits them better, and the acting was so on point. I see Jellyfish entertainment has a thing for horror concepts and honestly no one does it better than them lol. What I found most impressive was the choreography. Really stuff you would find in a horror movie and they executed it perfectly. There was like some paranormal stuff going on with the body pulling and head turning and arm weaving. Goosebumps bruh, goosebumps. Horror musical, that’s how I would describe this stage. TOO-It was a shame that they were not able to pull off that one move, and although it would’ve really added to the perf, it definitely didn’t take anything away from all the other amazing-ness that went on. A wonderful concept, the camerawork and choreography switches back and forth between the good and evil and then both sides clash together during the climax. That whole scene with J. You walking slowly in the middle of all the chaos was magnificent. And I just wanna comment, Chan is a natural performer. His facial expressions are everything and he has so much stage presence. I’m continually amazed by TOO, they perform so well that I forget they’re rookies sometimes. The Boyz-And now we reach this madness. When I first watched the ep, after seeing the other groups’ performances I started thinking there was a lot of added pressure on TBZ because everybody put on such remarkable performances and they really went all out. They had to not only outdo themselves from their last one, but also top all of those performances. I should’ve known they would destroy the stage. This was my favorite performance hands down (I would say it’s my favorite RTK stage but I literally have multiple favs. It’s really up there tho). Where do I even begin? I feel like I need to make a whole separate post for this lol. I can go on forever but I’ll just be as brief as possible. First of all, can they be like directors or something because their level of creativity is so ridiculous, I’m honestly dumbfounded. And this is unrelated but I love how they were just casually doing arts and crafts while coming up with a LITERAL masterpiece. Continuing where they left off was a genius move. That in and of itself already has you hooked. The things they come up with are like stuff you can only imagine, but they make it into reality. The way they tell their story is always so cinematic, it keeps you entertained throughout like a really good movie. They’re so good that I feel like this is something we should be paying for to see lol. My absolute favorite thing about this performance is actually the arrangement. How did they make Reveal better?? Reveal was already such a banger, but then they made it sound so much more epic. It builds up from a majestic ballad to like a war anthem. The progression is amazing. The thing about TBZ is...they don’t let you breathe lol. They don’t have just one trick. Once you’re amazed by something, they just hit you with another one and another one and another one, escalating it every time. I have all the words I could describe this performance but I also have no words. Kinda left speechless. Like, what did I even watch? You wanna ask the question, ‘how are they gonna top their own performance.’ But it’s no use asking because they’re just gonna do it lol. Would love to discuss the details on discord cuz this is getting too long. But honestly, the performance speaks for itself. We’re gonna see the rankings next week and the first eliminated group oofff. Have some tissues on the side for good measure.

You guys are hilarious. Had to back you guys when I saw you were doing RTK reactions. I think that Pentagon has one of the best stories in Kpop, so I humbly ask that you check out more of their stuff (even though you guys are probably get a hundred of such requests per week). Enjoy your weekend mates

And now you have seen one of my favorite stages in this entire show, The Boyz Reveal: Catching Fire! It wasn't just a stage, not just a song, it was a whole PRODUCTION! They really are so talented~
