SKZ Show + K-Pop Listening Party Update (Patreon)

SKZ Show

Hey guys! Just wanted to drop some updates regarding our K-Pop content!

We will be continuing the Stray Kids Show with Finding Stray Kids! We wanted to start this week but we sadly couldn't get the chance to record it :(

As Finding Stray Kids is a 50+ min show we need to record right after Aasif's back from work and before our usual stream begins which gives us a very tight 1 hour window to get it done.

Unfortunately with the tight windows and content we had to do this week, we felt like we couldn't give you the reaction you deserve but we WILL prioritise this from next week onwards. We really appreciate your understanding here 😭

K-Pop Listening Party

Thank you so much for all of the support you've shown on our K-Pop streams! After the copyright strike on YouTube, our plan was to stream all K-Pop content (except for SKZ Listening Parties) over on Twitch and we did so with our first ever Dreamcatcher Party!

As time went on, our Twitch evolved from a backup platform into an active community where we can hang out with you and play games with 0 fear of getting copyright striked. With Twitch's latest crackdown on copyrighted content (and our previous experience with strikes in general), we're trying to move away from risky content.

But February's K-Pop Listening Party WILL happen! We kindly ask for all K-Pop Listening Party patrons to please drop your requests (including any saved up requests below as replies). Please note that in order to make collecting requests simpler and centralised, ONLY the requests posted as replies to this post will be in the playlist!

We will be doing one, final, BIG K-Pop Listening Party over on our Discord server with live requests if time allows!

Due to the way Discord livestreams work, our facecam won't be streamed but it WILL be recorded separately so the VOD (that will be uploaded on Patreon after) will have normal, full audio + visuals.

Tier Changes

With all of our efforts currently focussed on the content that we're doing across Velo City, Velo City Extra, Twitch and Patreon on top of the long term projects we're working on (such as the upcoming SKZ cover 👀), we've decided to remove the request benefits from the following roles for the foreseeable future to accommodate our workload:

 K-POP REQUESTS

Yonkou

The Pirate King

We completely understand if this comes as a disappointment and you'd like to cancel/lower your membership. We'd just like to give our sincerest and heartfelt appreciation for all of your continued support so far!

The Future of Velo City Extra

Stray Kids have cemented themselves as part of our lives and we genuinely have so much fun reacting to and making content about them so we will continue to focus on SKZ content (especially with the new CB coming up!) on Velo City Extra as normal! We really look forward to carrying on this journey with you!

Thank you for all your understanding and support! We appreciate you so much 😭🙏
