Oh shit, this is a sick as hell tidbit. Pride never dies! I used to watch Cro Cop fights with my dad as a kid ALL THE TIME. Cro Cop's hometown is actually not that far from my own :)

Damn I genuinely heard Menthuthuyoupi saying my countrys name. Didn't know I needed it until i heard it

There's an entire translation meta on the Killua/Meleoron exchange. What Killua actually says is closer to “At worst, there’ll be a double-suicide (or lover's suicide), I guess.”

Its never said but i believe zeno was who told knov the info. Since they were riding on his dragon made of nen he probably could tell when it arrived/disappeared

Youpi's growth is so interesting. What a great character

He's great! Love him as Gendo's and Youpi's voice but to me he's mostly associated with Hasegawa from Gintama, another goated character.

Basically VIZ (manga) and Crunchyroll both translated the lines differently, but stripped it of some of its meaning. This isn't completely uncommon when romantic tones were hinted at in Japanese but were more or less ignored in English. I'm actually working on a 2011 remaster and I'd recommend reading some of the translation metas once you're done with the show, because it really does help to add more depth to some key scenes and interactions.
