Hello Everyone!

Really Happy to have Multiple series on the channel again! I've been looking forward to this for so long, It's been so wonderful to return to Monster and Doctor Who, really missed those. Those two will remain locked in till completion, under no circumstances will they be shelved again. It's an important first step to take care of all unfinished business.

Hunter x Hunter

Once it gets close to the end, I will make a post about follow up content, so I can gauge interest. The two options being HXH (1999) or continuing the journey through Manga Review videos. I definitely don't want this to be the end of HXH on the channel! Though I think it's very important to specify that neither would be immediately after. There will be a break, and it might be quite an extended one. All of 2024 was just HXH, so I definitely want to make sure I cover a variety of content in 2025, especially a return to live action stuff and gaming.

The Immediate follow up to HXH will be through a Poll. This will be for a shorter Anime, and I can see a mix of older and recent ones being an option, stuff like Frieren, Pluto, Heavenly Delusion. I want to have the replacement locked in at a certain point, so the day HXH 148 goes up, the first episode of the new Anime will go up as well. Good chance that the poll will go live by the end of February.

Chimera Ant Arc - Wrap up video

Decided that I will be doing a separate Chimera Ant Arc video as well at some point, most likely after the conclusion of the Anime. Wrap up type video with fave episodes ranked, discussion about fave characters of the arc, and just further discussion for the the arc as a whole. Should be good first run for that type of video.

Doctor Who

As many of you know by now, my coverage for the series will be ending with the Capaldi era, but I will make a video for Jodie's first full episode as well! and of course I will continue to watch it off screen.

DW 10x7 Update

I am just a tad bit behind on editing, both Full Length and Early Access will go up on Wednesday. Should be on track after that, thank you.

Thank you!

Honestly, I was always bummed that 2011 was your introduction to HxH and would love to see 1999 content from you. If nothing else, I'd appreciate a blog update about your thoughts on it, if you watch it. It would be a dream to have reactions, though

KaedenKing

I have been secretly hoping this entire time that continuing HxH with the manga would be something you'd be open to, and I would be EXTREMELY happy to support that. As someone who just two months ago re-read the manga from where the anime ends for the third time, watching you experience that would be a treat I couldn't ask for more of.

Isaac

Those options for short followups couldn't be better. Each of those series would be a great fit here.

Volsion

Will you be reacting to the newest doctor who season once you get through Jodie’s run offline?

elliot

Glad to see more variety return to the lineup, that's huge. I personally would love to see my all-time-favorite Vinland Saga wrapped up soon just to tie up that loose end, but you ought to know by now I'll be here for whatever 😁

Cyonated

great to get so many frequent uploads again. would 100% watch manga reads/discussions. looking forward to possibility of Severance, it’s really in a league of its own 🙏

traydo0r

I will be so MAD if the Manga Review Videos don't win, man don't take away greatness from Im and it would open up other series Manga Review from him. I am beyond excited!

Hydro

Looking forward to the new poll, Frieren is definitely up there for me, so if it's on there I'll vote for it for sure.

Zach

When it comes to manga reviews, I'm sure there is a lot to be discussed on how to approach it. My first question would be, say you're all caught up (this applies to any show/anime), what would be your stance on viewers throwing out theories in the comments? Would you see it as another way to engage with the audience, or would it damper the experience seeing millions of other theories being thrown at you? Side note: I know it's quite a long ways until you get to it, but I am eagerly awaiting Better Call Saul.

Jay

Love the update! My vote obviously goes for manga reviews lol. Frieren sounds fun :)

ya ya

please continue rdr2

Abdinur Hussein

Frieren would so good for you to react to or steins gate or violet evergarden. Also my vote would go to a hxh manga review video. Interesting to hear your thoughts on the chapters

Madani

Frieren Hype

Marcus Watty

Frieren would be so fire 🔥

Nessa.

Hi Im ! Please consider Orb : On the movement of the Earth on the poll, it probably won’t win against Frieren’s popularity but the themes and deep discussions in this anime are absolutely amazing and right up your alley (I think). I was happy to see it on the list you’ve made here on Patreon. Also, it’s a short anime and currently airing.

Haha your pfp picture is so cute 🤭 i know who that is. I hope he reacts to 🦊🍜🍥 one of my old time favorite...brings so much memories.

Sloopgamer

Seems like Frieren will be the next anime but that one I am gonna skip. I am one of the very few people who really didn't enjoy that one and I haven't even finished my first watchthrough. Though maybe you can throw in the poll something like Dandadan or Delicious in Dungeon to make it a little bit more competetive haha Though DiD I would simply recommend to wait for the second season cause that one will finish the manga. It's a story I would say that better consumed in one go

KotBegemot

HxH manga reviews would be awesome! An yeah, extended break seems reasonable. I'd be fine with return in 2026. And about options for a short anime replacement I already said before but I guess I'll repeat. Madoka Magica. It's a true classic at this point, really short (12 eps + Movie) and it's the best way to introduce you to SHAFT's unique and creative style. Although there's no way it's winning against Frieren. Something like Pluto could be nice but it makes more sense to do after Monster. I liked Heavenly Delusion but it's a ongoing series and I think it's worth to wait for more anime content of it in the future before starting it on the channel. Same with Frieren tbh but it has a lot to chew on already and Season 2 is already announced. But it won't be released for at least a year probably, maybe end of 2025 at best. And then it's definitely not gonna be a shorter series. Tbh it's already not a short one, 28 eps. P.S. Looking through your polls here seems like the most worthy candidate would be Steins;Gate. It's always been the next in line after those you've already watched by now. Monster, FMAB, NGE. Also Mob Psycho but it's a bit on a longer side (37 eps + OVAs) while S;G is 24 eps +OVA. If Frieren fits 'Shorter series' criteria then S;G does as well. And let's be honest it's probably the only opponent that can stand a little chance against Frieren even though it's most likely still gonna be crushed xD

litix12

Frieren is going to be a perfect fit for you i hope you really like it.

Abram

HxH manga for sure. You can review each new post-anime volume which consists of 10 chapters starting with volume 33. Honestly, just watch the 99 version on your own if you feel like it.

traydo0r
>>164316549

I think a whole volume review would be too dense; I previously suggested a review every 2 chapters, (the anime averages at 3 chapters per episode) so we would get 5 reviews every volume for a more in-depth look at more important moments that might be buried if it's in an overall volume, just my two cents of course Im would decide the best format. :)

Zer0

Hoping for a HxH manga review, although deciding the format might be a little difficult since if you go volume by volume you would essentially only have 6 videos with a lot of very dense content to discuss in each one, but also only reviewing one chapter at a time would not work that well, so maybe you could review half a volume of the manga per video, some compromise inbetween

litix12

I'm still waiting for the anime's return but if you read the manga I hope you have a great time i hear its amazing.

Abram
>>164316549

I would like 2 chapters too. I only said a volume because he said that he would do it that way, but if we can sway him, more power to us.

Louis

Would honestly love to see some game playthroughs from you, I know last time with rdr2 it didn't gauge the interest you were hoping for and maybe it's a little time consuming too but honestly I really enjoyed those videos

Fe

hxh manga review 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Ameer Sabri

Can't believe we might get either Heavenly Delusion or Frieren next, that's super exciting!

Mahmod Eg

I would love to see you’re reaction to Frieren + I prefer HxH manga over 1999 hxh

Ves

HxH manga review in 2026 seated for that

بدر
>>164320445

Didn't know he did rdr2. Gonna go watch that from his perspective 👌🏼

Yinki

Hope Orb will be on the poll 🥹

tubbagoob

Would love for you to react to severance I am obsessed with it 🙏

Nessa.
>>164312404

@Kon - Wow you have really good eyes ;) ahaha I'm impressed that you managed to recognize who that is !!! I love this show too !! I hope he does react to it someday, although I'm not too sure he will and I don't know if the current video format would be fitting this show. It's on his list of shows though !

FILMBuFF

If Frieren really is that much of a lock, I might consider not including it in the poll, since it would effectively make the poll pointless. It's similar to HXH, where I know I will be covering it for sure anyways, just a matter of when it slots in.

Zach
>>164316549

Agree with the 2 chapter discussions. Although if he did do anime chapter reviews, that could be done by volume.

Jeremy Cruz

Please continue with the Hunter Hunter manga it is incredible

Kon
>>164312404

Too many clues..... I think is very obvious; the greenish tatami floor, the hairstyle, and character color scheme are very recognizable. I was just re-watching a certain fight. It's currently the longest anime on his list with around 430~ canon episodes total so It might take him 2-3 years depending on how many episodes he watches a week but it's doable. I hope he doesn't drop it it's such a classic story! fingers crossed.

Kon

You can always use Yu Yu Hakusho as a placeholder for HxH content because I think it's so fun and entertaining, hell you can even throw the Level E anime sci-fi comedy by Togashi I don't care. Also I would love both reactions to 1999 version anime and manga reviews from the very beggining until present time. I'm not sure if you are aware you should start the manga with volume 0 which covers Kurapika's backstory.

Wintertimelo

The manga would be sick it’s the only manga I’ve ever read and it’s just so amazing. Togashi is brilliant

ya ya
>>164320445

it would certainly get more engagement if he continued, he was at the slowest part of the game when he stopped.

FILMBuFF
>>164297057

I think it’s unlikely at this point, especially because a whole run would be missing in between.

Volsion
>>164297057

That’s a shame, but I understand. I think reacting to the 60th specials would still be cool though if you get time.

Madani
>>164377637

Yeah if Frieren is on a poll is going to win for sure, it's the #1 ranked anime on MAL. Maybe you can add something of Masaaki Yuasa to the poll instead (Ping Pong: The Animation, Devilman: Crybaby, Keep your hands off Eizouken! )

Kite

I'll legit tear up if we get a manga review

Sarah S

Still got JJK S2 on your radar? I think Frieren wins the poll. That’s a great show.

Sarah S
>>164591028

All good 👍 It’s an amazing anime thriller season. I’m assuming it’s out & easily available by now but if it ever does come up for the channel, try to watch the Blu-Ray version of S2.

SwordAndSavior

Would love to see what you have to say about Frieren. But I would highly recommend clannad and clannad after story. Wont bring you the numbers but you'll like it.

Luka

Since you are interested in covering HxH and Berserk manga, does that mean you also have a list of mangas you want to check out in addition to these anime and TV shows lists or are these 2 the only ones (at least for now)? Also, do you plan on covering a manga sometimes this year or you don't have any concrete plans yet?

Nessa.
>>164377637

Yes it will win right away. It's one of the most popular shows of the last 2 years. Pluto and Heavenly Delusion are good contestants as they are very similar in terms of popularity/type of shows.

Sam M
>>164301644

Oh I was just about to ask about Better Call Saul then I saw your comment. Has he stated before that he intends to watch it at some point? I would be very excited for that. I've been re-watching it recently and am continuously impressed by how good it is.

FILMBuFF
>>164301644

Yep, it’s pretty high on my list. Going to cover a few shorter live action shows before I dive into BCS, it’s a long commitment.
