It is here. Can‘t believe it. The final episode discussion

Jay

Hell yeah

Prince

Let's go! Can't believe we are here! The chairman's lore doesn't stop! He can't keep getting away with it 😭 There is fan made version of Gungi based on pieces and moves shown in the anime. in the game, the Marshal and Spy are the equivalents of King and Queen in chess. Spoiler free website of the game: https://gungi.io/ "The swans!", Finaaalllyy! Someone remembered! "I can't believe I finished a 148 ep anime!" Said the One Piece enjoyer 😅 Man, if I could watch only one show in my entire life, I would choose Hunter X Hunter, this show just has all you need to learn about life: dedicate yourself in what you do (Kumogi), always seek challenges and get out of your comfort zone (Netero), value true bonds more than anything else (Meruem) and focus on the journey rather than the destination (Gon/Ging) Have fun with the manga! for a long time I always thought that anime is just superior to manga as a medium, "The coloring, the animation, the voice acting, the sound tracks...how could that not be the case!", until I actually read manga... I understood that manga is its own beast. Beyond that some of the manga greats (Chainsawman's of Fujimoto comes to mind), employ paneling tricks that can ONLY work in manga. Naruto will be a fun ride if you skip the fillers, it's without a doubt the quintessential battle Shonen anime. I wanted to add something here, that might be a bit weird and para-socially, but these last months I have come to see you as this cool old brother I get to hung out with (smth I never got the chance to experience since my irl old brother is a psychopath worst than Illumi). So it really get this sadness in my chest every time you talk about retiring from content creation in few years .

Patrick Redmond

It was a pleasure to watch this show through again with you. Thank you!

Ryuma

oh man i cant believe it. i know for a fact that i will come back to these analysis/reaction videos of hxh 5 and even 10 years from now. ur an artist honestly.

SaIado

[Theory non-spoiler] About Gons mother topic there's a crazy theory sustained by one card description in Greed Island in (Manga only), nothing too revealing or relevant but funny if you think too much about it. I will leave the card picture in the following link so you can take your own conclusions on the matter haha https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fexternal-preview.redd.it%2F3sN24-lps4gSD1qnsZ5IpBxQja7RsYIV68T2wPgVj0k.jpg%3Fauto%3Dwebp%26s%3Dd71ca90ca279d944a4180315dbfd0b1d130684ac

What a journey

Jeroen Moons

Hey Im, I found your channel during the Heavens Arena arc, ever since i have been watching everything straight on release. It has been amazing following your journey! You're an inspiration to me on the way you consume media and respect it. Thank you!

SwordAndSavior

If you ever decide to start a long series. I'll go ahead and say it now. Watch Naruto. EDIT: I didn't even finish watching you and you said you could try watching it. Definitely watch it! Please its legit! There's a lot to talk about and you'll probably get viewers in bunches. Maybe do one episode a week. I feel like you'll natrually watch more and then some.

rahka

Thank you for this awesome journey! I haven't been able to watch the video yet because for me it says that "Sorry this video does not exist" and it does say that on all of your videos on Patreon. I was able to watch your Monster reaction yesterday just fine. Does anyone have a solution for this? Edit: Started working now all of a sudden.

nut

Thank you Im, you added an incredible ride to a show I love and I'll make sure to enjoy the rest of the detours to come.

rahka
>>168978462

Oh, I'll let you know if I happen to find a solution for this.

SwordAndSavior

Such a satisfying ending though. "Perfect" indeed.

SwordAndSavior

Anyone else feel like the "world beyond" reminds them of one piece? And then truth of the world and all that?

rahka
>>168978462

Hey, the issue is fixed now for me atleast. Is it working for you too?

Congratulations on completing Hunter x Hunter!!! Apologies in advance for writing this short essay, but I wanted to provide you with all the information I felt you might find valuable. Please skip over any topics you are not interested. All URLs provided are spoiler-free unless explicitly stated otherwise. One of your first questions regarding the ending of the anime may be “Is it all canon?” The Answer is yes! The only original scene towards the ending, that I’m aware of, are the flashbacks we see as Gon runs up the tree. Everything else, including the end credits, faithfully adapts what Togashi considers to essentially be the first ending of the manga. --QUOTES— Below, I thought I’d share some of my favorite quotes that I gathered from various interviews with Yoshihiro Togashi, providing his own perspective on Hunter x Hunter's story and his creative process. On the Ending and Continuation: “I need to finish writing Hunter X Hunter. It has come to a point where either the story concludes first, or I die before that happens (lol). But I do intend to finish it. Although you can say that at one point in the story -- where Gon meets Ging -- I have completed the story once. I believe that some readers must have thought 'Wasn't that supposed to be the endgame?' and I did write it to seem that way. Still, I did not intend to cut off the flow of the story there, and I hope my readers could see that there was still room for continuation. As a reader of Jump myself, I also remember having thought 'Shouldn't this manga have just ended here?' and feeling pissed when it went on and on. I want to always be in touch with that feeling as a reader. But Hunter X Hunter as it is now has a lot in it that makes me want to keep on reading, even from my own perspective as a reader. And from my perspective as a writer, there are still many things in it left that I want to write, that I would enjoy writing. And so if anyone would be willing to enjoy this ride with me, that is all I can hope for." (Yoshihiro Togash)URL: https://old.reddit.com/r/HunterXHunter/comments/8m157x/togashis_interview_translated_by_veraciouscake/ (post deleted) These next two quotes are from an interview is between Yoshihiro Togashi and Sui Ishida(author of Tokyo ghoul and non-canon Hisoka One-shot) Togashi’s on writing Hisoka’s Character: “How much you can bring out his whimsy is very important. When I want him to do something the most is when he is least likely to move for me. It’s easier to just step back and not think about anything - then he will move on his own… I just create the surroundings, environment, battle set-ups, and leave Hisoka’s movements up to Hisoka. Then his character will burst out for me. Togashi on his Creative Philosophy: “I think manga is more interesting when the characters aren’t under control. When I write manga, I first think of a rough outline. But when I actually write the characters, sometimes they say things that are completely different from the storyline I thought of. But I think “This line really fits them!”, and then I have to give up on the original story. But I think it’s much more interesting when that happens.” URL: https://hunterxhunter.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:MrGenial11/Yoshihiro_Togashi_x_Sui_Ishida_(Tokyo_Ghoul)_interview (spoilers) These quotes are several I collected from a joint interview with Masashi Kishimoto (creator of Naruto), where Togashi elaborates on his writing style; specifically Storytelling and Character Building: Togashi on... - On Modernizing Hunter x Hunter: “When I began Hunter x Hunter, I based it off when I was in elementary to middle school... But as the serialization continued, it got linked to the current me. I put in cell phones, then smartphones. So I didn’t worry about it too much.” - On Developing Characters: “If there’s one tip I could give—when people are creating characters, they often come up with the personality. Doing this can make it hard to move the character around later if you pick a vague one like “cheerful” or “gloomy.””… “You need to be able to communicate with yourself about the character. For example, you decide a character has a short temper. So you ask yourself, “When does he get angry?” but there’s no answer. But if you come up with specific situations in which the character gets mad, the character becomes really easy to write… Even for characters that are incomplete, you still need to place them in as many specific simulations as possible to see how they’d react. Otherwise, you’ll get stuck later.” - On writing via instinct and breaking rules in storytelling: “Before you get to that stage, you obviously need to rely on an internal manual or a set of rules you’ve created. But it’s hard for me to stay within those boundaries. It’s not so much about staying within my rules or not—I just like advancing the story in directions that I cannot predict.” - Favorite Films: “My favorite is Alien, but I’ve actually watched John Carpenter’s Prince of Darkness more times… I also like 28 Days Later.” URLs: https://www.viz.com/blog/posts/togashi-x-kishimoto-discuss-worldbuilding (Minor Naruto Spoilers) https://www.viz.com/blog/posts/togashi-x-kishimoto-discuss-creation (spoilers) A quote from a recent tweet of his I liked: “I feel incredibly happy and delighted when the characters take me on adventures that go beyond what was planned.” https://x.com/Un4v5s8bgsVk9Xp/status/1867869969909952535 (spoilers) --ANIME CHANGES-- Differences Between Manga and Anime Adaptations. Hunter x Hunter 2011 is considered a very faithful and respected anime adaptation, however, the anime does contain certain differences from the manga: - Kite’s removal from episode 1 is definitely the most egregious change made: Director Hiroshi Koujina explains the significant delay in Kite’s introduction: “In the manga, the character Kite appears early on, but for various reasons, his appearance came much later in our adaptation. Incorporating his appearance was particularly difficult. The whole thing certainly didn't run smoothly. Thinking about it too much brings back too many painful memories.(Laughs.)” URL: https://www.manga-passion.de/articles/86/interview-mit-hiroshi-koujina-dem-regisseur-von-hunter-x-hunter-2011 - Censorship and Character Changes: - Significant censorship occurred from the Hunter Exam through Heaven’s Arena due to earlier time slots. - Examples include censorship of Genthru’s victims and Pokkle’s death (https://imgur.com/a/bDN2I35). - Leorio’s strength was toned down compared to the manga (opening Zoldyck gates alone, arm wrestling). And Chrollo’s ability conditions were omitted (https://imgur.com/a/Gbkg416). - Anime-Original Content: - The longest original scene I can think of is the group passing time locked in the Trick Tower room(ep 12). Several other minor changes occurred, especially in the first arc. - These last two may be revealed in an event of an anime continuation but are likely safe. (View at your own discretion) - The Gyro Panel you mentioned being told about in a episode discussion.(would’ve occurred ep 80) (https://imgur.com/a/ppozNm6). - A character hinted but never revealed(would’ve occurred ep 53) (https://imgur.com/a/XdAaymn). --Togashi’s Health-- Current Status of Yoshihiro Togashi’s Health Hxh Hiatus chart: https://hiatus-hiatus.github.io/ Here’s the update Togashi gave of after his longest hiatus for an exhibit in Japan: https://imgur.com/a/7bgP0cV Togashi’s health fluctuates, impacting the release schedule of Hunter x Hunter. Over the past year, he’s shared positive news, including a surgery he received, and he was making good progress when he was posting to his feed. Recently, he stated: “We are currently checking and adjusting the dialogue and timeline for the next 50 chapters that will be published. Once that's finished, I plan to resume inking the manuscript...” (Dec 16) Yet shortly after, he also shared: “For some reason I was bedridden for several days. Although still a little unsteady, I have recovered enough to walk around the house..." I truly hope he is doing well now, as the last update we received was just over 3 months ago(Dec 20) Conclusion: Now that it sounds like you’ll be making a post-mortem review covering the broader series rather than just the CA arc, I’ll drop some manga spoiler-free tier lists if you’re interested. Hopefully, you will share with us your favorite characters. (characters) https://tiermaker.com/create/hunter-x-hunter-all-characters-2011-790559 (arcs) https://tiermaker.com/create/hunter-x-hunter-story-arc-tier-list--803430 (episodes) https://tiermaker.com/create/hunter-x-hunter-2011-episodes-19609 You’ve quickly become my number-one, favorite reactor through your engaging Eva and hxh reactions and in-depth discussions. Can’t wait for your hxh manga reaction/reviews! As for your Patreon, $10/month is typically a bit steep for me, but it’ll be worth it for more HXH!(Def not trying to bribe you😉). I’m excited about several other series you have on your radar, so while I wait for more hxh content, I’ll just enjoy the little detours to the fullest. Because that's where I’ll find the things more important than what I want.

Aflo

Thank you for providing us hours of entertainment!! Truly had a blast with this show and can’t believe it’s over. Looking forward to the next chapter of film buff.

Doodlez

The comic the guy on the world tree sapling read was a easteregg from another manga/anime its called parasyte. Your the only reactor who wasnt confused about the goto butler thing. Its not so hard to understand but every single reactor i saw got so confused. Also you understand the swan thing with spinners mine. Your really are the GOAT reactor.

Aaron Izaguirre

HXH is my favorite anime/manga. It came to me at just the right time in my youth when I was only a little older than Gon. Since catching up to the manga in 2019, I’ve had to sit through the many breaks, but I think they’ve just made me appreciate the story we already have even more. It’s not without its flaws, but HXH has always been perfect in my eyes. Maybe it’s nostalgia (I’ve been following the story for almost 7 years), but when life gets hard, I know I can always come back to Togashi’s masterpiece. I’m glad I get to witness you’re experience with this special story.

ecksdee

It was a pleasure to re-experience this journey with you. You treat all of the content you cover with an extraordinary degree of respect and engagement. I hold this show very dearly and seeing someone else get even more out of it than I did my first viewing is such a joy.

Grimulkin

It's been such a treat to join you on this journey, HxH has always had a special place in my heart and it makes me so happy to see someone like you appreciate all it has to offer :)

Kara the gamer girl from Mars

Thank you 🫶 i still remember first time you said you were gonna take the plunge and tackle HxH and it almost felt surreal considering of the length. This is definitely my personal favorite reaction and discussion series of yours right up there with AoT, AVA and Dark. As for the possibility of the anime returning even though I don’t suspect it will be anytime within the next few years but i still believe it will happen. I’ve been a fan of HxH since there was only the manga and the 1999 anime and i remember back then the idea of a continuation was basically non existent especially because there was an adaptation to the Greed Island arc in the form of an OVA and ended up not delivering on the same quality as 1999 (though i still think it’s worth at least checking out a few episodes) and even when we finally got the announcement that HxH was coming back there were a lot of people who didn’t think the anime could ever do the Chimera Ant arc justice which almost sounds silly to say now. So even though it’s been 11 years since it ended i still think that it will continue at some point. The sad thing is though it has been 11 years so whenever it comes back it’s going to be something different. Some of the people who have worked on 2011 have moved on/retired or sadly passed away. But I guess that’s the nature of long running animes. Either way whenever we get a continuation i will hopefully be there no matter what stage of life I am at and hopefully you will be there as well whether as a content creator or just a regular audience member 😊

Monaf

Oh man what a lovely journey, I cant get enough of this series, I started watching the 1999 version when it came out, and then read the manga, then 2011 came out and watched it weekly, now I re watched it again with you and it felt like my first time again seeing your reactions and discussions, it is a special show for me and I am glad you loved it. Regarding your thoughts about Naruto, I am kind of surprised people tell you that it is not for you, I believe if you enjoyed HxH then you will enjoy Naruto. Now its time for Steins;Gate !

edamammy

It’s not the destination, but the journey. Nevertheless, it feels so bittersweet. Here’s to the next one, and all the little detours. Im, you have a gift for understanding story and sharing that profound appreciation with others, and I’m genuinely just very emotional and grateful that you chose to put in the effort to give this series the love it deserves and share it. And of course, he remembered the damn swans. The GOAT.

KotBegemot

Yeah, I know a couple of Serbian girls who are probably ones of the biggest Ging's haters, but even they admit that he's not that bad of a person besides being a deadbeat dad and appreciated his moments with Gon in the finale.

KotBegemot

And about potential Naruto on the channel, if we're being realistic the ideal format would be manga reviews, by volumes or arcs. And watching some notable episodes and scenes, listening to iconic OSTs. Naruto fans would probably disagree but imo if HxH manga videos experiment will be successful then it could be a nice follow-up. Just a suggestion. I'm not the biggest Naruto fan tbh but I'd watch your manga reviews of it. But probably not anime reactions/discussions. Maybe to some episodes/arcs.

Mitrey

Congratulations for finishing the Hunter x Hunter anime! Even though, as time moves on and you re-watch this masterpiece for the x%! time, you´ll soon realize, that you are never truly finished with this story, its characters, the world an its themes. There are still new things to explore and dive deep into and it does not get boring. I hope you´ll enjoy the manga as well, once you get to it. I myself am still a big fan and I am still looking forward to the new chapters once they are released. The wait is worth it. Thanks for your wonderful content and discussions. Hunter x Hunter to me is an all-time favourite and I am very happy that SteinsGate is next in line. Another beloved classic for me.

EightNights

One of my favorite series of all time! It was a pleasure to watch it again with you, the value you added to a show i already love was huge! Your work is appreciated <3

Kor of the Son

As a Naruto fan, I 100% agree with manga over anime. That's not to say that the anime doesn't have some absolutely PERFECT episodes, along with a timeless soundtrack, but the manga's pacing is a lot better, plus Kishimoto draws so many absolutely killer panels that just don't hit the same in the anime.

Sauli

I'd be down for Naruto, that'd be fun! Maybe two episodes at a time once a week, since it wouldn't have as much after-discussion. That would take about 4 years haha yikes.

Slaaverin

I'm grateful you made it through this incredible journey and shared your insights and feelings with us. Hxh is my favorite anime and I know that never again we'll have reactions of this quality. Thank you for everything, you brought people a lot of joy! You're an incredible human and I appreciate you and all the effort you put through. Bravo! I'll stick around a while longer, I'm quite fond of you now. Can't wait for the wrap up and of course the manga! Keep going you're doing amazing! Sending you a lot of love 💜🥰🫂

Navigator

Insane journey! Loved your commentary all the way through. I'll be waiting for manga reviews and hopefully even manga reactions. The manga reaction format might not be your thing, but I think it could be great content, you never know until you try

greg tatem

What a journey! First time commenting, only recently joined the Patreon after making my way through the Youtube videos over the last few months. The reactions have been awesome but it is your sharp and honest post episode analysis that really pushed me to sign up for the Patreon. Now I am looking forward to your future content as well as getting a chance to peruse your back catalog. Much love and hope you enjoy celebrating the LFC Prem title!

FILMBuFF

Going to come back to this comment section the moment I get a chance! I want to address each and every one of you, Just busy working on a triple drop at the moment 😄 I’ve already seen some really lovely comments pop up on my phone! Man, just really thankful to have such an incredible collection of people pass through here 🙌🏼

Horizon xkuni

Damn, it's actually over. Watched every single episode with you on Patreon. 100% worth it. It feels so good to 'complete' a series. Thank you so much for sticking with this to the end, it was amazing!!

Branch haver

Great stuff. Just the perfect message to end it off on. I think you’ll really enjoy where the manga goes.

Shrump

Its been a great time watching all of your reactions and analysis. I love HxH so having a reactor that really deep dives into everything has been a pleasure. If you ever do another series I'm interested in, or when you do the manga I'll definitely be back. I hope you enjoyed HxH and had a great time with it. Also if you're going to read the manga, if you have time I'd suggest to start back at chapter 1 even if you don't do videos on the stuff the anime already covered, there's some neat differences here and there, with the most notable differences being in the Hunter Exam and Greed Island. I'm also really looking forward to your wrap up video. I hope you enjoy making it and thinking about the series as a whole and looking back on parts you haven't watched in a long time now due to the length of the series.

Fadel saad

This journey meant a lot to me, I waited eagerly for every reaction of yours and I've watched the discussions to the end it was so fun. HxH is my favorite series ever. I would be happy if you could check the 1999 arabic opening it's my childhood: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOz8CVQjTuA As for the sequel and how much manga content there is, I'd say they could make a 40 - 50 episode season since the chapters after the anime are extremely dense. You'll get what I mean when you get into it. I'll just say that Togashi is a monster and he is outdoing himself in the current arc. Thank you so much Im, looking forward for future HxH content and Steins;Gate. Hope you enjoy it!

Kya Colosseum

Discovered your channel around episode 85 of CA and honestly was blown away by just how invested you get when watching, so much so I was convinced for a little while that you must have already seen this considering how spot on some of your predictions and analysis' were hahaha. Now we're at the end what can I say other than thank you for giving this series the love and attention you've shown it over the last 18 months. I'm definitely not alone in considering this my favourite anime for a whole host of reasons, and watching someone as attentive as yourself watch it for the first time is the perfect way to experience this show all over again. The fact you're equally willing to criticise what you don't like as you are to praise what you like makes that praise feel all the more impactful, as the show absolutely has its faults as any story does. It really has been an amazing journey, and regardless of what you go onto react to next I can't wait to see it

Kya Colosseum
>>169033117

Hahahaha my favourite L&M commenter being here told me I was in the right place immediately, dw the joy of finding it here myself was worth it ;)

Dominic

I haven't finished the video just yet, but I just wanted to say thank you for the fantastic analysis (not just this episode but the series over). I started following your reactions to HxH from the start, and was enamored by the level of care and attention you took while watching the show. I decided to support on Patreon, not just because I wanted to support a creator making high-quality content, but because I wanted to see the series again through new eyes. I've watched a number of reactors go through this series, and each reactor has made me think a little differently about HxH. I'm grateful for getting another perspective on the show (and incredibly insightful one at that). During the time that you've been watching HxH, I've been working on a HxH 2011 fan-edit, with a new color grade, sfx, score changes, curated 99 and movie footage, new OPs and EDs, new subtitles, scene cuts and additions, among other things. Your reactions, as well as some insightful comments, have led to a number of changes on my project that will better the overall narrative and story. It's still a very long way to go, as it's a colossal project, but I will certainly credit you and everyone else that has influenced what will hopefully be the best telling of Gon's journey thus far.

oerwhat

What an incredible journey, thanks for all your amazing analysis 🙏

A

Watching you review this show was like a drug I needed to have injected every week. My fav series you’ve done. Thanks a bunch!

David

Best hxh reaction series, enjoyed every episode and reliving this series again. Also insanely excited for Steins gate and future series, thanks for doing what U do bro

Helix

Congratulations on completing the anime. It's been quite the journey, and I always enjoy your commentary. It's insightful and thoughtful, and you never mail it in. It's really quite amazing. I hope you enjoyed some of the production/staff info I shared. If you're interested, I can always provide the episode director's/storyboarders name and the name of the animation director for the episode in the future. I think it's quite an interesting topic.

Kite

This was such a journey! Thanks for everything Im! It was really joyful to stick around. Thank you for giving me a much more profound appreciation of Hunter and Togashi. As much as I loved my first watch, this one with you made the anime much greater! Very rarely I watch reaction videos of certain anime clips on YouTube just for fun, but you're the only creator whom I've rewatched entire anime series with (5 so far!) and listened to all discussion portions. I don't comment much, and joined Patreon kinda late, but it's been such a delight! Can't wait for the manga discussions!

Mykel

Ahhhhh ITS HERE. I saw the email notification this morning right before work and have been waiting to watch this all day. I was never one that's much for reaction content, but your style in your Attack on Titan reviews really drew me in. When you started covering HxH I was very excited because I just finished the manga and was craving more. It wasn't my favourite show/manga, but rewatching it with you really made me notice a lot of things about characters, themes, shots/"cinematography" (I like the change to the panel selection in the discussion section you've made a while back) I hadn't before, and appreciate things I didn't previously. I feel like this rewatch almost elevated this anime to my favourite, and getting to experience it again through you was a pleasure. I also appreciate that you're not afraid to critique aspects you don't like, and hope positive comments can empower you to continue to do that in future reactions. :) I agree that this is a really clean wrap up for the anime, surprisingly so given the story continues on from here. think there's enough manga to make another couple seasons, but it wouldn't have that clean conclusion. Also as you're aware there were definitely some weird choices by the 2011 adaption that didn't quite land for a lot of people (not introducing Kite in episode 1, the Gyro plot line, etc.) because they started adapting while the manga hadn't reached the chimera ant arc yet, so they might want to wait to avoid more issues like that. A long break is in order, and I don't wanna start chatting about theories even if they're not technically spoilers because they might lead to certain inferences, but look forward to returning to the manga sometime further down the line and looking forward to more reactions from other anime/film <3

Hamad19

Thank you. Really thank you so much. I'm a crazy Hunter x Hunter fan who's re-watched the anime and some episodes 897 billion times and I can't almost miss a single reaction about it. But you were definitely the content creator who embraced the work and its beauty and understood it to the fullest. I even noticed with you some beautiful details in the anime that I hadn't noticed the previous 897 billion times. It was amazing. Thanks again for watching my favorite anime and putting your soul into fully understanding and feeling it

lordducksenpai

A little late to the patreon community here, but had to see off the finale of the chimera ant arc and the rest of the show by experiencing each episode with you in its entirety. It truly was a perfect ending, further enriched by your wonderful insight!

Marcus Watty

How did we get here already. We were just in the hunter exams. Time goes by fast man

Sloopgamer

So we finally reached the conlusion of this fantastic anime. I have no words to describe how much the series means to me. It is my third fav anime ever and the ca arc is my fav arc of all time. And at this point I believe the only one that can possibly beat that is Togashi himself with possible future arcs. People call HxH the most inconsistent consistent series cause every arc has a different vibe, different chars and a general different idea. To some this makes it a masterpiece for some it is the big negative point. I love it. To me HxH feels like Togashi said to himself that he wants to put every idea he ever had in hxh cause he knows this will be his final magnum opus. And at the beginning he put systems in hxh which allow him to do all of those things and ideas. I’m talking about the very good thought out nen system. Plotwise it is kinda hard to write about anything cause for certain elements we have the same amount of information like you and on other we have more and to make there some kind of comments due to possible spoilers I think I will restrain myself. So thank you Im for watching this fantastic long series and I’m so hyped for the eventual manga content and all the other series that are coming!!

gggunit

enjoyed ur reactions and takes, hopefully we see naruto one day

C&C

Thanks for reacting to this. I enjoyed being able to experience the show with you again. The idea of a Naruto reaction is interesting (if you find the time to do something like that). I'd recommend the manga for it. You'd be able to get trough it with good pace and give review videos on stuff that stood out.

Indra Villa

I'm not usually someone who leaves comments but I wanted to thank you for sharing this journey with us, I love hxh and i think going through it with you and hearing your thoughts made me appretiate it even more.

Taivas

Thank you for all the time and effort you put into this series! This anime means a lot to me, so it was great getting to experience it again through your videos. The discussions and theories at the end of each episode always made me excited to see how you'd react to future episodes and story arcs. My favorite moments were seeing you speculate about things like the Phantom Troupe in the early parts of the anime and then finally seeing your reaction to "Gathering of Heroes" and the Yorknew City arc as a whole. There were many great moments like that in this series, but that one was my favorite.

FILMBuFF

I’ll watch all the OPs and EDs for the wrap up video as well 👌🏼

What an incredible journey it has been! An absolute honour and a blast experiencing Hunter x Hunter with you. HxH is my all time favorite anime and I've seen it countless times, yet your reactions and analysis consistently brought mind blowing details about it and new perspectives on this amazing story that I had never even considered before and helped me appreciate it on a whole new level. Please know that the effort and genuine care you poured into each reaction are greatly appreciated. Thank you so much, GOAT!

I share the sentiment of many of the comments below, so I'll give my opinion on Naruto as a series as I see many other comments celebrating the end of HxH. 》 I vouch for you to watch the Naruto anime. People here are downplaying the message and story Masashi Kishimoto built with Naruto over 15 years and the massive lore and world building. The anime has fillers but you can skip them as they aren't story relevant for the most part. It's only around 430~ canon episodes and you have experience watching One Piece. Manga is a viable option but I'd recommend anime because of the amazing fights in chereography, outstanding music, and iconic voice performances over a long time period. Of course it's not perfect there are plenty of aspects that fail but if I had to mention 3 positives it has 1. Backstory focused. Similar to One Piece in the regard it has plenty character backstory, flashbacks and lore for a lifetime. There's so much intrigue and mystery to explore and a world full of life and real people. It has the best villains in the big three (Naruto, One Piece, Bleach). 2. The emotional beats of the story. It knows when to be serious and comical and strike's a good balance between epic and sad moments. Engaging battles and ideologies are put to test. The BEST fighting choreography and animation. 3. The music is OUT this world. Banger after banger after bangers of soundtracks. It's no exaggeration it's on par with almost anything. Goosebumps inducing and so much epicness. It also has massive views on youtube and if you're consistent you can bring a whole another level to your channel. Naruto anime is an instant classic.

I think being a first time watcher of Naruto would be huge for the channel as well. One of the most popular shows, people love to see new reactions

Thank you for your reactions! This was definitely one of my favorite detours. I truly felt like I was watching the show for the first time again, through you. HxH is my favorite Anime/Manga so I'm glad you ended up loving it as well! I found your channel because of a shoutout by Ben from Autosave (goats) and started watching from the moment you uploaded hxh's first episode. Very thankful to be here and will continue to follow your future detours for sure. Onto the wrap-up and Manga!!!

What a run! Congratulations on finishing the series. It's been an absolute pleasure re-living this adventure again with you. I remember where I was in the very first episodes of your reaction series for this, so it's pretty amazing to have gotten here together.

There's an excellent video(4 minutes long) that shows the invasion of the palace in real time, 4-way split screen like Palm sees... I just think you might like to see it. Maybe you can squeeze it into your wrap-up video? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MjiHClo2rmc

thank you im

Naruto is nice honestly, I think you will enjoy it. I know people who are 25 or older who have watched it and they all like it a lot. I agree it is more childish compared to AoT or HxH, but it's a masterpiece nonetheless.

Wow! It was a great journey. I was following on youtube but I am so sad the ride is over. You started this series in 2023 (jeez time flies) if I remember correctly, and so you have a unique experience compared to a lot of people who binge watched the series as you sat with these characters for a long time before making it to the final episode. Now in 2025, having officially watched the final episode, I wanted to say Congrats Hunter! Experiencing the series again through you was a real joy as we could all see your passion and love for the series. Please continue on through the manga when you can! I wanted to ask, during the Heavens Arena arc we see gon fight the urge to watch Hisoka's fight. As you only watched two episodes a week for 1 year + , did you ever have to fight the urge to want to watch the next episode after watching one already?
