Sniper was a girl. Subs got this part wrong due to "Pinhead" talking about her in gender neutral form. So translators, for some reason, made the sniper a guy. Not that it matters. Tonpa did take something to upset his stomach, he made a point of taking his own medicine as Leorio watches once they got his card. Was it not part of anime?? I don't remember at this point, and I haven't watched the full episode.

Watched the full length with Im, they didn't put the thing in with Tonpa. I didn't read the manga from the beginning but I did know about it prob through comments. They did need to cut some things in this arc

Since the pinhead guy's design is revealed, I think the opening should be safe to watch now.

He's been saying he has been enjoying the show a lot and that it's a breath of fresh air. I don't think he has made any major complaints about the show so far.

HxH has some longer build-up/set-up periods, but it rewards the audience with some great pay-offs. And even the slower bits have a sense of fun. I think it is a good sign that he is enjoying the Hunter Exam Arc, since many people complain about the 'slow' start of the show (not me, I love it).

Not sure why you feel the need to say this since he has made zero complaints so far. And I don't think he's the type to drop shows before giving them a good chance
